Kindergarten pretend play might just be the sweetest thing ever! 😍💚

Today they were busy cooking and serving, and they had one very special request… “Can you call Ms. Flanagan so we can serve her?” 🥹

Of course we had to make that happen! 💚 They were SO proud to serve our AP, and Ms. Flanagan was the perfect customer. 🥰

Just a little Friday fun filled with imagination, big smiles, and the sweetest little Huskies! 🐾💚 What a perfect way to celebrate Friday!

Our Kinder-Huskies are well on their way to fueling a L💚VE of reading! 🐾📚

They’re learning the ropes of library checkout and were SO excited to choose books of their very own. There’s nothing better than seeing our littlest Huskies get excited about reading! 💚📚🐾

Our Huskies in Mrs. Welch and Mrs. Edwards' classes are off to a great start this school year!

Mrs. Welch's class did an activity using Oreos where they tried to balance the Oreo on their nose and get it into their mouth without using their hands. During this activity, they learned that even though something may be hard, they can keep trying because they can do hard things. They also learned that learning can be silly and a whole lot of fun!

Mrs. Edwards’ class read Don’t Blow Your Top and learned self-calming strategies. They also conducted a fun experiment using vinegar and baking soda to demonstrate what can happen when we don’t manage our emotions and allow them to build up. Just like the mixture bubbles and overflows, our emotions can “explode” when we don’t use strategies to calm ourselves down.

💚🐾🩶 Our Kindergarten students were so excited to begin our new Arts & Letters curriculum, and what better way to kick off Module 1 than with Senses Stations! 💚🐾🩶

Our little explorers used their senses to investigate the world around them! They:
👅 Tasted and described different foods
👀 Used their sense of sight to guess mystery close-up pictures
👂 Used their sense of sound to identify objects hidden inside eggs
👃 Explored different scents
🖐️ Used their sense of touch to investigate mystery objects

There were lots of guesses, giggles, and discoveries along the way! We are excited to see where our senses take us as we continue exploring our world!

🚛💚🐾Our newest little Huskies are officially ready to hit the road! At Kinder Camp last week, our students got a little taste of what kindergarten is all about—meeting their teachers, creating fun crafts, learning about riding the bus, and getting ready for an amazing year of learning and growing!

Our journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to watch these little Huskies learn, grow, and haul their way to success all year long!

Buckle up, Kindergarten… we’re headed for a GREAT year! 🚛💚🐾
