🤖 So… what does “ITERATE” mean?
It means you try something, figure out what isn’t working, make changes, and try again!
And if you’ve been around our HS Robotics program for the last couple of years… you KNOW we have gotten really good at this! 😂
Two years ago, we set up our HS Robotics classroom for FLL with two 8x4 ft practice tables.
Then we switched gears to VEX V5 and suddenly needed a 12x12 ft game arena. That meant those 8x4 tables had to go because… well… there was NO SPACE! 😂
Then we rearranged and moved things around THREE MORE TIMES trying to improve our workflow, make better use of our small space, and figure out the best way to manage two teams in one room.
And today… WE ITERATED AGAIN! 🎉
We moved into a larger classroom down the hallway, and let me just say… WOW! 🙌🏻
We now have:
🤖 12x12 ft VEX V5 game arena
🔧 Two 8x4 ft work tables
🛠️ Two 6x3 ft work tables
💻 Coding stations
🥽 VR stations
📦 AND… STORAGE!!! 🎉😂
Our HS Robotics students and parent volunteers worked HARD today! They moved, carried, organized, rearranged, and then probably rearranged it again. 😂
They did an AMAZING job, and I am so thankful for every single person who gave their time and energy to make this move happen!
A HUGE thank you to our HS Principal for his approval, support, and willingness to help us make this next iteration possible!
Because that’s really what ROBOTICS is about:
Build it.
Test it.
Figure out what doesn’t work.
Make it better.
ITERATE.
And do it all over again! 🤖💪🏻
And yes… I’m sure we’ll probably move something again eventually. 😂
