Chalk Drawing at Blossom!

Chalk drawing is one of our favorite activities at Blossom! Give the kids some colorful chalk and a space to create, and they’re ready to go.

It’s a simple activity, but there’s so much learning happening while they draw! Chalk helps children build fine motor skills and hand strength, practice hand-eye coordination and develop the early skills they’ll need for writing. It also gives them a chance to use their imagination, make choices, and express their creativity.

And of course, there’s the fun of creating something together, talking about their drawings, and seeing what their friends come up with.

Sometimes the simplest activities are the best ones!

There’s something extra special about our infant room at Blossom. From those first smiles and giggles to wobbly reaches, curious discoveries, and brand-new milestones, we love being part of every little moment!

Our tiniest learners are busy exploring their world through sensory play, movement, music, tummy time, stories, and lots of loving interaction.

Every cuddle, conversation, song, and opportunity to explore helps support their growing brains, bodies, communication skills, confidence, and social-emotional development.

🎉☀️ BOUNCE, BOUNCE, HOORAY!☀️🎉

It wouldn’t be summer at Blossom without one of our FAVORITE traditions… BOUNCE HOUSES!

Sure, there’s plenty of jumping, giggling, and fun, but did you know our little bouncers are learning along the way, too?

Bouncing helps children build:
💪 Gross motor skills through jumping, climbing, and balancing
⚖️ Coordination & body awareness as they navigate the space
🧠 Balance and core strength with every bounce
🤝 Social skills as they take turns, play together, and navigate shared space
💛 Confidence & independence as they try new movements and challenges

So while it may look like “just play,” we know something BIG is happening, learning through movement, laughter, and play!
