Flannel Friday at Blossom Bridge!

Our Blossom Bridge crew got into the fall spirit today by wearing their favorite flannel! From our staff to our kiddos, we loved seeing everyone join in on the fun. These little spirit days are a fun way to celebrate the season, share some smiles, and make memories together!

We love finding simple ways to bring a little extra fun to our days at Blossom Bridge. Thanks to everyone who participated, and we hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

🚒 A fun visit from some pretty awesome community helpers! 🚒

We had a pretty exciting visitor at Blossom Bridge yesterday! The Hugo Fire Department stopped by to spend some time with our kids, and they were so excited to see the fire truck! The children got to check out the truck, visit with the firefighters, and learn a little more about fire safety and what firefighters do to help our community. We love giving our kids opportunities to meet the people who help keep our community safe and learn from them firsthand.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Hugo Fire Department for taking time out of your busy day to come visit us and make fire safety fun for our little ones! We appreciate you!

🐸Little Moments Lead to Big Memories 🐸

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the best memories.

A little visitor outside, a group of curious kids, lots of questions, and everyone wanting a closer look. Some were ready to touch, some were a little more hesitant, and some just wanted to watch what was happening.

These are the everyday moments we love at Blossom Bridge. The simple things that get the kids excited, bring everyone together, and give them something to talk about long after the moment is over.

Childhood really is made up of these little moments, and we’re pretty lucky to get to be a part of them.

Here’s to all the little moments that turn into the biggest memories!

🍎 Happy World Teachers’ Day!🍎

Today we want to give a big thank-you to the teachers at Blossom Bridge who spend their days caring for, teaching, encouraging, and loving our little ones.

Being a teacher isn’t always easy. It’s a lot of little moments like helping a child through a tough morning, celebrating when they learn something new, answering a hundred questions, giving extra hugs, and making sure every child feels cared for and welcomed each and everyday.

To all of our Blossom Bridge teachers: thank you for everything you do! Your patience, creativity, kindness, and dedication do not go unnoticed. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful team caring for and helping our little ones grow every day.

And to all teachers everywhere, thank you for the difference you make.

🍎🍏 Apple Week at Blossom Bridge was so much fun! 🍏🍎

Our whole center got in on the apple fun this week! From our littlest learners to our Pre-K kiddos, each classroom found creative ways to explore, learn, and play with one of our favorite fall fruits.

Throughout the week, our children were busy with apple-themed sensory activities, art projects, stories, counting and sorting, taste testing, science experiments, and lots of hands-on exploration.

We love seeing how one simple theme can turn into so many different learning opportunities! The kids were able to practice fine motor skills, early math and literacy skills, language development, sensory exploration, creativity, and social skills all while having fun.

And, of course, no Apple Week would be complete without getting to eat some apples! We tried different varieties, talked about our favorites, and enjoyed a little taste of fall along the way.

We sure are having fun welcoming fall at Blossom Bridge!

🍂☀️We’re soaking up every bit of this beautiful fall weather at Blossom Bridge!☀️🍂

There’s nothing quite like getting outside, feeling the fresh air, and letting the kids enjoy some good old-fashioned outdoor play! Our classrooms have been spending lots of time outside enjoying the changing leaves, running, climbing and exploring.
Outdoor play is so important for growing kiddos! It helps with:

🌱 Building gross motor skills and coordination
🧠 Supporting creativity, problem-solving, and imagination
💪 Encouraging healthy movement and physical activity
😊 Supporting social skills as children play and work together
🍃 Giving children opportunities to explore nature and their surroundings
😴 Helping with overall well-being and healthy sleep
❤️ And, most importantly, giving kids the chance to simply be kids!

And if you know Minnesota, you know we better enjoy every second of this weather because before we know it, these same kiddos will be bundled up in snow pants, boots, hats, and mittens and heading outside to play in the snow!

So for now, we’re going to keep soaking up these beautiful fall days while we can!

🍂🚜 Tractors and Trucks Fall Festival 🚜🍂

What a fun day at Blossom Bridge! We would like to give a big thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our Tractors & Trucks Fall Festival!

We loved seeing so many of our Blossom Bridge families, new families and members of our community come out to enjoy the day with us. It was so much fun getting to see everyone laughing, playing, exploring, and making memories together!

A very special thank you to the Hugo Fire Department for bringing out their equipment and giving the kids the chance to check things out, try on some of the gear, and get a little hands-on with the fire department. The kids absolutely loved it!

Another big thank you to DeVos Pedal Pulls for coming out and running our tractor pull! Watching the kids pedal their hearts out and cheer each other on was so much fun!

And of course, a special shutout to Ms. Liz, one of our amazing teachers, for bringing some tractors for the kids and adults to enjoy!

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make our fall festival such a fun day for our Blossom Bridge family and our community. We especially loved welcoming some new families and getting the chance to spend time together outside of our normal day-to-day!

🍂🍁 Fall has officially arrived at Blossom Bridge! 🍁🍂

Summer has come and gone, and we are jumping right into one of our favorite seasons! Our classrooms have been busy exploring all the sights, sounds, and changes that come with fall.

We’ve been heading out on neighborhood leaf hunts, looking for colorful leaves and signs that the season is changing. We’ve also been getting creative with fall art projects and enjoying some fun fall games along the way!

There’s just something special about watching the kids experience the changing seasons, getting excited about a crunchy leaf, spotting a pumpkin, or noticing that the trees are starting to change colors.

We’re ready for cozy days, colorful leaves, pumpkins, and lots of fall fun at Blossom Bridge!
