Summer camp is a wrap! What a great turn out for “4-H is a life saver”! We spent the last few days going over safety topics: Online safety, water safety, kitchen safety, outdoor safety and more. Youth built friendships, danced their tail off, had new adventures and ate some good food!
We look forward to next year!
County Officer Applications are out. Reach out to your leader or contact the Extension office if you need a form!

Summer is here! 🌞🍀
That means camping, family cook outs, 4th of July, and much more.
Did you know that 4-H collects pop tabs? Something that most of the get together this summer will have!
🍀Help 4-H make an impact! Our donations of pop tabs help with the Ronald McDonald House Charities that provides a home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children who are receiving medical treatment in the Oklahoma City or Tulsa areas.
Simply enjoy your drink, collect the pop tab, and drop off your collection at your local OSU Extension Office.

The Choctaw County 4-H Officer Team had a great time hosting our Wildlife Project Workshop Day! 🍀🐾🌲
Youth from across the county joined us for a morning full of learning, leadership, and hands-on activities focused on wildlife, conservation, and animal care.
Workshop topics included:
• State 4-H Wildlife Hides
• Lucile’s Pollinator Project 🐝
• Heart worms in dogs
• Water conservation and water impacts 💧
• Rabbit care and husbandry 🐇
A huge thank you to our presenters Riley Pope, Braxley Hudson, Taylor Vandever, Lucile Morehouse, and Dr. Kevin Allen for sharing their knowledge and helping make the event a success!
We are proud of our Choctaw County 4-H Officers for their hard work, leadership, and dedication in organizing this event for local youth. Events like these help members grow their skills, learn about the environment, and make new connections along the way.
