So honored that some classmates and friends joined us for the Friends Running for Hope 5K this morning! A great morning and a lot of memories shared. Kass is smiling! Thank you all!

This post from last month provides some of the background for the 5K run/walk on Saturday morning. We hope that you will join with 4 of your classmates for this event for a good purpose. We will meet at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the parking lot at HHS.

Please note that this is an informal gathering. There will be no timing chips, no prizes, no signage, or medical assistance. Your prize will be the good feeling you have after participating in an activity that provides inspiration to others!

Join us! You will be glad you did....

Starting from a conversation over drinks at a Christmas gathering last December, we have completed a 5K every month of this year in loving memory of Kass. Friends Running for Hope is going strong! As of this morning, we are half way to our first-year goal of running 12 races during 2013. Running provides a chance to connect, reflect, and to see the hope that surrounds us.

Today was a wonderful day! So great to see so many familiar faces, all gathered to run in loving memory of another special person that we lost too soon.

We hope to see you on Monday during our Team Kass blood drive! Please join us in the fight to save lives.

The parties before the party....Some classmates are gathering for two pre-reunion events this weekend:

Friday night at 8:00 p.m. at the Spartan Pub for some conversation and cheer; and again on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. at HHS to run/walk in a reunion 5K.
