There will be a band booster meeting in the HHS library on Thursday July 17th at 5:30. All parents of any band member (marching/concert) are welcome to attend.

Band Booster meeting Thursday 6/19 at 5:30. Due to construction of the band room, the meeting will be held at HHS Library. Elections of new officers will be held at the end of this meeting. Any parent of a band member (marching and/or concert) are welcome!

Bring instruments and ALL graduation music!
Wear formal white on top, formal black on bottom.
Ladies - formal mixed black and whites are fine if you wish.

2024 marching band staff members will be performing with the Bushwhackers from Princeton, NJ (Devon Palmeter) and the White Sabers from Rochester, NY (Mr. Kutay and Jae Mitstifer).

DCI is set to bring an exciting weekend of SoundSport performances and drum corps competition to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, over two days early this August.

PARADE 1 - SUNDAY, MAY 25 @ PICTURE ROCKS
B Uniforms with black shorts, hats, sunglasses
12:30 - report to bandroom @ HS
1:00 - depart HS
1:30 - parade step-off, immediately followed by a ceremony at the cemetery.

PARADE 2 - MONDAY, MAY 26 @ HUGHESVILLE
B Uniforms with black shorts, hats, sunglasses
7:45 AM - report to HS
8:20 - walk with a buddy to fire hall
9:00 - step-off at fire hall. End parade at A Wing and ride bus to Hughesville Cemetery for the ceremony. Bring instruments, Sweet Caroline, Hey Song, Nat'l Anthem, and Salute to Freedom.

Come check out the high school concert band and the jazz band at Knoebels today! Concert band is on at 3:15 at the band shell, Jazz band at 3:45.

Attention senior high band parents and Jazz Band parents!

Permission forms for the May 18 Knoebels trip were sent home at the end of last week and at the beginning of this week. Please return those completed forms by Friday so your child can attend the trip!

ALSO - report time has been pushed back to 10:00 at the HS instead of 7:40.

ELEMENTARY BAND/CHORUS CONCERT TONIGHT! Details below.

Doors open: 6 PM
Students report to bandroom: 6:30 PM
Concert start at HHS auditorium: 7PM

Band students: Wear white on top, black on bottom. Formal wear strongly recommended. Bring instruments and music!

Chorus students: Spring formal wear.

Please join us tonight at this year's ELSD Spring Arts Festival from 6 to 8 PM in the Hughesville High School gymnasium. There is no admission charge. Both elementary and high school students' work will be displayed. The high school chorus performed last night and the elementary band/chorus plays tonight!

AP Studio Art students and seniors with a significant body of work will have their own display tables. Those students include: Ella Breneisen, Wyatt Gardner, Ember Hill, Brooke Dorman, Julia Birdsall, Olivia Bullock, and Sarah Buck. The fine arts department will feature live pottery throwing demonstrations, a make-and-take table, and hidden gold prize tickets which can be used in the "Art Vending Machine." Other special displays include work by the Video Production Club and Yearbook.

It’s Krispy Kreme time again!!!!

Good Morning Band! It's that time of year for our annual Krispy Kreme fundraiser!! Profit earned from this fundraiser will go toward student's accounts. Their account is used to pay for uniforms, show shirts, instrument repairs or accessories (if needed), and band trips.

Each box will be sold at $10 again this year! All money and orders are due by Wednesday, May 7th (no exceptions). Pick up is Tuesday, May 13th after school, in the parking lot (due to construction exact location is unknown).
