Accidental damage (includes drops, spills, liquid damage, cracked screens),
Theft, Fire - Flood - Natural disasters, Vandalism, and Power surges due to lightning?

If the answer is “YES!”, please visit the insurance portal to purchase OPTIONAL insurance for your child’s device. Insurance is $33/device for the 26-27 school year. Insurance needs to be renewed each school year.

The Pittston Area Family Center’s Parents as Teachers program invites families to a special Touch-A-Truck Group Connection!
Children will have the opportunity to explore multiple emergency vehicles from the Hughestown Fire Department, Hughestown Police Department, and other Hughestown Emergency Services. Bring your friends and family for a fun, hands-on community experience!

📚⚾ Keep Reading This Summer with the RailRiders! ⚾📚
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders support reading programs throughout the school year—and now students and families can continue the fun with the RailRiders Summer Reading Program!
Reading over the summer helps children maintain the skills they worked so hard to build during the school year and can help prevent the “summer slide.” Even a few books can make a big difference!
📖 How many books should you read?
• Preschool–Kindergarten: 7 read-to-me books
• Grades 1–4: 5 books
• Grades 5–12: 3 books
• Adults: 3 books
This program is open to readers of all ages!
After completing the reading log, email the finished bookmark to [email protected]. A RailRiders staff member will then send an online ticket redemption link.

Families are invited to join PennDOT District 4 and the Pittston Memorial Library for a special School Bus Safety Story Time!
Children will enjoy a fun story while learning important tips for staying safe on and around the school bus. The event will also include:
🛑 School bus safety activities
🎨 Crafts and coloring
🎲 Fun safety games
