🎃 Challenge ACCEPTED, Hueytown Primary family! September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we’re ALL IN for the 👻 JEFCOED Trick-or-Treat Attendance Challenge!

Throughout September, our classes will compete for the chance to experience the ultimate Halloween field trip! The elementary/intermediate classes with the highest average daily attendance will head to the Board of Education on Friday, October 30!

If one of our classes wins, students will:

👻Dress up in costume
🍬Trick-or-treat through the Central Office
🤝Meet Superintendent Dr. Gonsoulin

The competition starts TODAY. Let’s make every day count! 💯​

Is it hot enough to melt crayons??

Mrs. Dargan's Pre-K class headed outside today to answer that exact question!

The students made predictions on what would happen when they left a tray of colorful crayons in the sun to see what the heat would do.

It didn't take long for the hot sun to melt the crayons! Ask your little scientist tonight what happened to the crayons when they got hot!
