"Let there be conflict in stories... Kids do not need to be protected from the great stories... They can handle the hard part in the middle, they just need to have that resolution at the end... Some mistake that some parents will make is that they get to a dark part in a story and then they'll just give up because it's too dark...you've got to push through to the end at that point... Because that's the whole mirror of the christian story. We're created good, we fall, and then we're restored and redeemed. We're always looking for and responding to that pattern in stories."

Back to School Monday, August 24th

How is Libertas different? Why do we exist? Why are you here?

The world is a noisy place and it's easy to get caught up in the shiny things that sparkle but quickly fade. As christians we're called to something more. We look beyond the fleeting facade of the world's enticements and see God's holiness.

We know God, we love Him, and we are here to glorify Him, enjoy Him, and serve His people.

Libertas staff teach from the latin premise of multum, non multa. It means much, not many. It encompasses the idea of depth rather than breadth. It devotes time to the mastery of a subject rather than a shallow encounter. It focuses on quality over quantity. It builds a foundation for life-long success, not just a "get through the test" mentality. We develop thinkers - free men and women who go on to shape culture, not bow to it.

Education is worship. Discipleship is worship. Life is worship.

Come worship the King with us this year at Libertas!

As our nation begins the celebration of America's 250th anniversary, we pause this Independence Day with gratitude for the courage, sacrifice, and conviction of our Founding Fathers, who pledged "their Lives, their Fortunes, and their sacred Honor" in the cause of liberty.

As a classical Christian school, we remember that self-government requires self-discipline, that liberty is sustained by virtue, and that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. May we faithfully prepare the next generation to cherish our nation's heritage, pursue truth, and serve God and neighbor with courage.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

🎓 Senior Spotlight — Annabelle Robbins | Class Valedictorian

Today we celebrate the Libertas Class of 2026 and we could not be more proud to close this senior spotlight series with our Valedictorian, Annabelle Robbins.

Annabelle is the kind of leader who doesn't seek the spotlight, she pours herself out for others and leads by serving. She has faced every challenge thrown at her with quiet boldness and unwavering perseverance, and she has done it all while caring deeply for her peers and younger students around her. She hasn't just valued her education at Libertas, she has honored it. We could not be more proud to call her our Valedictorian.

Favorite Bible Verse:
"The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."
— Exodus 14:14

Favorite Quote:
Ad astra per aspera — "To the stars through difficulties."

Next Steps:
This fall Annabelle is heading to Hillsdale College to study Pre-Law.

Well done, Annabelle!
