💦 Did you know that if we reach our goal of $20,000, Dr. VanderJagt has agreed to go in a dunk tank and allow South students who have raised money the chance to be the ones to throw the balls at it?!

We are off to a great start in raising funds for our Walk-A-Thon fundraiser! Be sure to register your student(s) and check out all the great prizes that are waiting to be claimed!

📣 Our main fundraiser, the Walk-A-Thon, is scheduled for Friday, September 18th and we need your help to begin raising funds! Our Fund Hub website has officially launched and we are asking that each student gets registered!

Each student who is registered on the Fund Hub website will get a cute 3-D printed Eagle fidget! Check out the comments for a sneak peek at what they look like!

🍿Another fun way to volunteer at South is to help pop, bag, and deliver fresh popcorn to all of South's students and staff once a month as a special treat. The time commitment is short (8:30 - 11:00 am) and we pop the popcorn right in the cafeteria.

Review the dates we are doing Popcorn Friday and sign up to help on the Sign-Up Genius. This is a popular volunteer opportunity, so we ask that you please only sign up for ONE slot! Thanks!

📃One easy way to volunteer at South is to help in the Copy Room by making copies and laminating. You can sign up for any of the dates on the Sign Up Genius that work for you, and when you sign up for a date, you can come in at whatever time during the school day that works for you, as well as stay for whatever length of time you are able.

The South PTC would like to welcome all new and returning families! We encourage you to stop by the PTC table in the gym hallway at the Open House tonight for a fun photo opportunity, to get volunteer information, and for a sweet treat!

The Open House tonight is from 5:30 - 6:30 pm for grades PK and K and 6:30 - 7:30 pm for grades 1 - 5.

A South student that just completed 5th grade, Jacob Wiersum, is currently in the hospital in critical condition after suffering from a brain bleed.
