Hey y'all :) I am Mary Beth Likkel and I am DONA certified birth doula. I have 2 kids of my own and had 2 really good birth experiences. I would love to help others have an overall positive birth adventure like I did. I want to encourage everyone that birth doesn't have to be terrifying or traumatic, it can be different than you plan but it can still be positive and you can still leave that experi

ence feeling proud and empowered. Birth work was not in my plans but God had a different plan for me and my life. Now I can't imagine not doing this really cool work. I started the process of becoming a DONA certified birth doula last fall. I went to a birth doula training and had my first birth about 3 weeks later. I have experienced very different births in the year(ish) I have been doing this. I have LOVED every single one! They were all so unique and yet so beautiful in their own ways. I feel privileged to have been a part of them. I love supporting men and women who are in the process of becoming parents and I can't wait to see what else God has in store for me through this new calling

Wasn’t planning on attending another birth for a hot minute but when a fellow doula calls on you for help, (and you’re able) you say of course! 😊 This first time mama was a champ and delivered a healthy little man via induction at almost 42 weeks. He definitely required some “encouragement” to show up to his own birthday party 🥳

I don’t know how many times my clients have been asked to sign something/fill something out while in labor and there is no pen in sight. Such a simple thing BUT insanely helpful when you’re trying to get this done in between contractions haha 😂

So we thought this not so little dude was going to need a little “push” to join us earth side, but he decided otherwise. Literally 5 hours before a scheduled “encouragement” he decided to jump start everything on his own 😅 Mom was such a champ and welcomed her baby boy with strength, determination, and love 💕

I dont know if everyone is like this but remembering my phone charger feels really hard, but remembering my watch charger NEVER happens. That’s why I love this portable charger! It chargers EVERYthing

3rd baby girl in a row and 3rd baby in a week… each delivery this week has been it’s own kind of special and required hard work, focus, and love by all involved BUT each little girl was entirely worth every single ounce of effort and energy! Happy birthday week you 3 sweet blessings

Girly pop had her own agenda FOR SURE! She was 42 weeks and 2 days before she decided to come into the world. Honestly she has the MOST patient parents I think I I have ever met because they just waited for her to kick start things and once she did she wasn’t messing around 😜 gosh I love birth work!

Baby number 34 came into the world in her own way and definitely made an impression in everyone present 😅 the uniqueness of every delivery just floors me!

Feeling blessed this birthday! My kiddos know me well and got me some cool doula things for my go bag 😊 they are so sweet! 🥲

There are times the body needs a little energy to finish out labor, but usually as labor progresses food sounds less and less appealing. Honey sticks are an easy way to get some sugar without making the client eat… so far my clients seems to like the honey 🍯 Try it out and see 😊
