Honoring Alex Wang ‘28 at last week’s White Coat Ceremony! 🥼

Alex’s project focuses on developing a specialized enzyme designed to selectively recognize and break down specific proteins associated with cancer cells. By targeting proteins that contribute to cancer cell survival, movement, and invasion, the project aims to explore whether their removal can reduce the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread to other tissues.

Ultimately, this work could contribute to the development of more precise therapeutic strategies that target key molecular features of cancer while minimizing effects on healthy cells.
