Another year, another UNFORGETTABLE Color Run! 🌈💥

This year was truly off the charts! With so many new faces joining our River Crest family, the energy, cheering, and community spirit reached a whole new level. 📣✨ Students cheering on their friends, parents rooting for their kids, and of course... the ultimate highlight: the dunk tank! 💦🎯

Safe to say we’ll be talking about this one until next year's run! 💬🎉

A massive shoutout to our incredible parent group for organizing such an epic event and making memories that will last a lifetime. We truly are Better Together!💙

This past Friday, the River Crest community gathered around our flagpole to honor Patriot Day. Together, we paused to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to the heroes and lives lost on September 11, 2001. We are so proud of our students and staff for showing such unity and respect.

Welcome Back, River Crest family! 💙🖤 It’s ALWAYS a great day to be a Raider, but kickstarting the year all together hits different! ✨

We officially launched the new school year with an interactive all-school assembly centered around our theme: Better Together! 🤝 From high-fives to high energy, our staff led students through fun activities to refresh our Raider expectations—keeping our school safe, responsible, and respectful all year long. ⚡️

Major shoutout to Mrs. Blattner and Ms. Lurndal for bringing the hype and organizing an amazing event! Let’s make this year our best one yet! 🎉

Yesterday, the Class of 2026 took a walk down memory lane! Wearing their caps and gowns, our graduating seniors returned to the hallways where their educational journeys first began.

Seeing the elementary students line the hallways to cheer on the graduates is a powerful reminder of where the graduates started and where hard work can take you.

What a great tradition and send off for our Seniors!

River Crest 2nd Grade students wrapped up their Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKL) Aviation Unit with an exciting field trip to a local airport. Students explored airport equipment like the tugs, visited the hangar, and toured the inside of a Cessna and a jet. They also had a front-row seat to watch planes take off and land on a nearby runway, learned about model airplanes, watched a flight demonstration with impressive tricks, and participated in a question-and-answer session with pilots. It was a great experience that brought their aviation learning to life!

Last week’s concert was one for the books! Under the direction of Mrs. Poquette, our students filled the room with songs of resilience and hope. From the powerful lyrics of Man in the Mirror to the glowing message of Flashlight, these young performers reminded us that no voice is too small to make a big impact.

We are bursting with pride over their hard work and heart!

Recently, Mrs. Bartch’s and Ms. Mueller’s classes headed over to YMCA Camp St. Croix for an afternoon of discovery. Students took to the trails and the pond to observe the local ecosystem firsthand.

It wasn’t just a walk in the woods—students spent time nature journaling, capturing the sights and sounds of the spring season. We love seeing our students' curiosity grow outside the classroom!
