We are collectively committed to providing a rigorous, student-centered environment to ensure equitable experiences for all students. At Hudson Middle School, we are dedicated to helping every child be successful at school and at home! With an emphasis on the whole child, we are focused on differentiating instruction and personalizing education for students through rigorous academics, responsive classroom, technology integration, and an emphasis on safe, responsible, and respectful behavior.

8th grade language arts students celebrated the lessons learned during their study of the classic novel The Outsiders with an Outsiders day. Students were encouraged to dress as a greaser or soc, played 1960s style playground games, and participated in a tug of war "rumble." The day was topped off with a classic car show, thanks to our generous community members who took time out of their day to bring their classic cars to our students.

HMS 6th grade students had the incredible opportunity to experience a powerful presentation by a Native American singing, dancing, and drumming group from the Upper Sioux Indian Reservation near Granite Falls, Minnesota and Minneapolis.

Mr. Campbell's PAT students engaged in an activity that was inspired by Zen, a puppy adopted from Coco's Heart. Coco's Heart's descriptions of dogs up for adoption had wonderful use of descriptive language. So Mr. Campbell's class created short descriptive passages to help get the dogs (Bodie, Carlton, Clay, Peanut, and Betty) adopted.

Through this activity, the kids became enamored with one of the dogs, Peanut. Peanut was able to come visit the class before she was adopted.

Shoutout to our amazing HMS NJHS students for their hard work! 🌟 The group kicked off the season with a spring cleaning spree, clearing away multiple bags of trash from around the middle school. We love seeing our student leaders take such pride in their campus!
