Holly showed Rock at his first pleasure show a couple weekends ago and they did excellent together! Holly lost her horse a little over a year ago but she never wanted to stop riding so she has continued lessons with us with hopes to have another horse of her own again in the future!

Rock and Holly did awesome together with little expectations for his first weekend pleasure show and learning the ropes of it all, and they still got ribbons in every class they went in! We look forward to seeing them again at Lancaster fair in a couple weeks. Huge thank you to Jenn Jette for sharing her amazing horse, Rock, with Holly this year!

Ladys first horse show with two littles the other weekend and she takes two reserve victory passes with Gabby and another one with Charlotte! This girl is such a special mare and we are so thankful to everyone that helped us get her out of that kill pen. Its so sad to think about how she ended up there but she has come a long way in the past year and a half with us.
Lady has gone to horse shows, fairs, trail rides, tons of baths, hours spent waiting for her to trust us enough to take a treat from our hand and TONS of love from everyone here. She also finally figured out how to eat grass! This sweet girl is truthfully a blessing to have in the barn and we just love her so much!

Last weekend at the Summer Jubilee horse show we tried something new! We had 3 girls that decided less than a week prior to the show, they wanted to try the NEHC huntseat medal. Of course with how we like to do things we went right along with it and off to learning the patterns they went. They had to memorize two different patterns because the judge could call for either one. NEITHER of these 3 horses are "seasoned" equitation horses, they have done very little patterns in their life time, if any AND not a single one of these three girls have ever done a pattern before.
Heading into this we definitely just wanted them to have a good time and get the experience. They came out with a second place, third place and a fifth place and ALL had a great time. I wish I took a picture of all of them together but a huge congratulations goes out to Hailey, Cam and Abby for participating in the medal. Whether you guys ever do it again or not we are so beyond proud of you for wanting to try! 🥰 pictured here is Hailey and Contralto, also known as Cat, with their second place in Haileys first ever pattern class! 💕

Kiera did a great job pioleting, Romeo, our little fell pony at her first weekend show this past weekend! She was top three in almost all four of her classes. The fourth class, in true pony fashion, Romeo decided to remind us all that he is still a stinker sometimes and wanted to make sure we didn't forget! A little hop up in the air and a jump to the side landed Kiera in last place for that class but because she rode him so smart, she handled it with grace and continued on as if it never happened (however, the judge saw that rail 😅). Kiera was a trooper and it didnt phase her much, after the class he still got a cookie and she still loves the stinker of a pony and was perfectly happy with how the weekend show went for her first time! Kiera is one of our riders that have come the furthest this past year and we look forward to hopefully having her out again at Deerfield Fair 😉

I figured it was time we had a little introduction for Brynlee Wilber and her horse Lorelai!! Originally she came to horse camp back when she was 8 years old and then she lessoned with us for about a year until covid hit. She took a break from riding and when she started back up she went to a barn closer to her home. Fast forward, she is now 15 years old, owns this lovely 7 year old Belgium cross paint mare and came back to us🥰
Right away she fit in great with the other girls at the barn, she is always willing to lend a helping hand and she is always striving to learn more. The summer jubilee horse show this past weekend was her second weekend show with us and they were getting great ribbons! It was an amazing moment for us all to see how far these two have come in such a short time with us and how happy Brynlee was after her classes! Next up, they will take on their first fair at the Lancaster fair! Who knows, you might just see Brynlee up on one of our saddlebreds at the end of this show season too! 😉

If there was an award for the "cutest duo" I think these two would've made the cut for it! Michaela made her show ring debut with "Little Miss Eclipse" or as some may know her, Little Bella! They did a fantastic job together and got some good ribbons in some tough classes! Michaela said she learned a lot and had a ton of fun with her favorite little pony and her barn friends, she is looking forward to her next weekend show already! 💕 Lynn Murach-Cuomo

Our little kill pen horse, Lady, has officially stepped into the show ring with some littles learning the ropes of showing all while she is also still learning the ropes of showing herself! This brave girl did amazing with the girls today. A job well done to Charlotte and Gabby for confidently pioleting Lady in the show ring and helping also build her confidence while she helps you build yours! We love this little mare 🥰

3 weeks of summer horse camp is in the books for 2026! We all had a great time ! In total we had about 42 campers in the last 3 weeks so we couldn't thank our barn girls enough for making it all run smoothly and helping out! Our helpers deserve a shout out too because theres a good amount of them that showed up at 8am and stayed till 5pm every single day with us, willingly! But they all deserve soem recognition.. So heres to our "older girls" Shelby, Cam, Abby, Julia, Hailey, Emma, Brynlee, Isabelle and to our "younger girls"; Ari, Gabby, Genevieve, Autumn, Alice, Lilly, Michaela, Kiera, Kathryn, and Norah
Fun fact : 11 of those girls I just listed all started with us at a summer camp and clearly never left. We are lucky to have them💕

UPDATE- HE CAME HOME!!! 💕

Posting this on our barn page hoping this gets more attention because we are really convinced someone just has our cat in their house with them since hes super friendly and we honestly just want our cat back.

Anyone see this cat near flying rock or pelham rd ? We were gone to a horse show and he decided he wasn't getting enough attention with limited people here and he decided to leave. I am not sure if someone keeps feeding him and he keeps going back to where ever he is going but if you could send him back to us that would be great.

We really like him and miss him and he's been gone for more days than average so we are worried. His name is Smokey and super friendly. If anyone sees him if you just go "kitty kitty" he will go running to you. If you see him please call us and we will come and get him. If as many people can share this post to all your hudson friends and surrounding area that would be greatly appreciated!
