A nature-based playgroup for children 2.5- 4 years old. We nurture self-initiated play and exploration through immersion in joyful, gentle creativity-filled moments. At Intiwasicha, love and respect for the earth and each other is nourished within our easy-paced daily rhythms. Your child will have a rich exposure to language vi

a songs, verses, games, movement and stories. They can participate in cooking, bread making, washing, gardening, coloring and much more. Spanish language offerings and a wholesome snack of organic world foods sweetly open the heart to others. Facilitated by Monica Gallardo, a Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher with over 24 years ofexperience. She received her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with Waldorf certification from Antioch University New England and practiced at the Waldorf School of Garden city for 23 years. Monica is an Early Childhood Specialist and Parent Educator, offering mentoring to Early Childhood professionals and training to local daycares through the Educational Incentive Program of the State of New York. She also offers family support and one-on-one coaching to parents. A native of Ecuador, Monica has traveled the Andean countries extensively. In her spare time she enjoys connecting with a diversity of people, hiking, dancing and loving.
