We are excited to announce that Hudson Junior Ken Kane has been elected to be a State of Iowa FBLA Officer for the 2025-26 school year!

Ken will be the Iowa FBLA District 1 Vice-President and serve as a representative for NE Iowa and have a leadership role as an Officer in Iowa FBLA!

Ken’s initiative and leadership will serve Iowa FBLA very well and we look forward to his continued leadership journey!

Ken also advanced in 3 Categories (Advertising, Graphic Design, & Journalism) to the National Leadership Conference this June in Anaheim, California!

Hudson FBLA Chapter President Ken Kane is running for a STATE OFFICER position for the 2025-26 School Year! Ken is running for Iowa FBLA District 1 Vice-President; voting will take place later today at the 2025 FBLA State Leadership Conference in Cedar Rapids! Ken has been on the Leadership Team of Hudson FBLA Chapter since it started 3 years ago and his leadership skills have prepared him for a potential position at the State Level! Hudson FBLA is super proud of the initiative and leadership Ken has demonstrated over the past 3 years and wish him the best of luck at what comes next! Ken is competing in Journalism, Graphic Design, Advertising and NLC Pin Design at this year’s SLC in Cedar Rapids to try to qualify for National Conference in Anaheim, California this summer. Ken has advanced and competed in 2023 NLC in Atlanta, Georgia and 2024 NLC in Orlando, Florida.

UPDATE from the 2024 FBLA State Leadership Conference in Cedar Rapids!

We had 4 students compete in various events:
🔹 Junior Blaiklee Schatz - Organizational Leadership (Test)
🔹Sophomore Ken Kane - Graphic Design (Presentation); Public Policy and Advocacy (Test)
🔹Sophomore Steven Dekutoski - Introduction to Financial Math (Test)
🔹Sophomore Jacob Culham - Impromptu Speaking (Performance)
Great leadership experience for these students!

🔹Ken Kane advances to the 2024 FBLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida on June 29 - July 2, 2024 and will compete in the Graphic Design Category. Ken also placed in Public Policy and Advocacy (Test) and still has opportunity to compete in that event at NLC.
