This Year in Review highlights just some of the ways PTO-supported programs, events, and volunteers helped support Hudson Prairie students, staff, and our school community throughout the 2025–2026 school year.

We're always looking to welcome new families and fresh ideas. Whether you can volunteer once a year, help from home, attend an occasional meeting, or take on a larger role, there's a place for everyone. There are no required volunteer hours or long-term commitments—every little bit helps, and we appreciate any level of involvement that works for your family.

If you'd like to learn more about PTO or have questions about getting involved, we'd love to connect. Together, we can continue supporting our students, staff, and school community.

📚☀️ Hudson Prairie Summer Reading Blackout Challenge ☀️📚

There’s no such thing as too much summer reading, right?! In addition to the district-wide optional summer reading program information recently shared by Mrs. Enberg, the Hudson Prairie PTO is excited to offer an additional optional reading challenge for Hudson Prairie Elementary students!

Students can complete our Summer Reading Blackout Challenge by filling in reading activities throughout the summer for a chance to celebrate their reading accomplishments when school begins again this fall. As an added bonus, students who complete the challenge will receive a $10 voucher to use at the Hudson Prairie Scholastic Book Fair!

This PTO-sponsored challenge is separate from the district summer reading program, so students are welcome to participate in one or both programs.

The blackout challenge sheets with additional information will be coming home soon. We can’t wait to see all the summer reading adventures our students have! 📖✨
