This week, BCK would like to brag on one of the few men in the Early education field, our Mr. Jeff!

Not only do the students all love him but some don't understand how much some children need that male role model in their lives until it happens. We have so many students ranging from infants to schoolagers that come in daily looking for Mr. Jeff. He is a gentle giant who makes sure that none of us girls "ever take out the garbage when he's around" nor do we have to be unsafe by standing on chairs to decorate anymore lol. He's always willing to help in anyway and BCK is beyond grateful to have him.

It should not be so uncommon for a male in this work field, he's more than a "daycare worker", he is a teacher, a role model, a handy man, a big softy, and can stand behind me and look scary if needed lol!

If you haven't met Mr. Jeff, ask your child, I bet they tell you some great things!

🌿 Introducing Nurtured Together! 🌿

I’m so honored to be part of the founding team and serve as a facilitator for Nurtured Together, a free monthly perinatal support group created to nurture, protect, and empower families through the delicate fourth trimester.

Pregnancy and the transition into parenthood can bring so much joy, change, uncertainty, and emotion. No one should have to navigate it alone. 💛

Our goal is to create a compassionate, welcoming space where families can feel loved, encouraged, educated, and supported through connection, practical resources, and community.

🤍 Our first gathering is November 19 from 5:30–6:30 PM at Building Confident Kids in Hudson Falls, NY.

✨ Free childcare available as needed
✨ Open to expecting parents, new parents, and caregivers
✨ Virtual options coming soon!

In honor of Fire Safety week, some Hudson Falls firefighters came to Building Confident Kids today and went above and beyond teaching our students about fire safety.

They first showed a little video, then dressed a fireman and lastly they showed the students all around one of their trucks.

We are beyond grateful for each of them and feel even more excited to be a growing part of this community!

Special thanks to Firefighter (not pictured) for hooking us up with the right person and helping to make this happen.

This Week we would like to brag on our Toddler teacher (but helps out wherever we need her and does it so happily), Miss. Tabor!

Miss. Tabor is definitely a fan favorite, all of the kids from the infants to the 6th grader absolutely seek her out!! We are grateful for her and are excited to have her on our team!

We are also excited to be a part of her journey into motherhood! 🤰❤️

Each week I will be introducing my staff! Starting this week with my daughter and lead Pre-k/Preschool teacher, Miss. Alyssa. Alyssa is a current student at SUNY Adirondack, going for her degree in Early Childhood. Following in her Mom's footsteps and will continue to be a huge part of BCK!
