Happy Birthday, Kari! Thank you for everything you do for the YMCA and for leading our Health & Wellness team here at the Huber Heights YMCA. Your passion for health and wellness and your dedication to helping others truly make a difference in our YMCA community.
When Kari isn’t at the Y, she loves spending time with her family and enjoying outdoor adventures with her sons. 🌲☀️💪

The CDCAC 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is coming to Community Park on Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m. - bringing players of all cultures, backgrounds, and skill levels together for an afternoon of competition, connection, and community. Grab your team and get registered! Teams can have up to four players, and youth teams play FREE!

Congratulations to our very own Pool Manager, Christine , on the release of her first book, The Weaver’s Wake, which is ON SALE TODAY! 🎉❤️

I mean, really… how many people can say they’ve written a book in their lifetime? What an incredible accomplishment and something she should be so proud of!

We are so proud of you, Christine Congratulations on becoming a published author! 🎉👏❤️ We can’t wait to see all the amazing things that come from this accomplishment!

Working at the Y has given me a sense of purpose during a season of change. It has provided meaningful connections to serve others. The Y has also inspired my own commitment to health and wellness. Being surrounded by people striving to improve themselves has motivated me to continue my own fitness journey. Being apart of the Y reinforces my belief that a strong community is built through kindness, encouragement, and service.

Wow, wow, WOW! 🎉

What an incredible day at the Strong Kids Triathlon!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event such a success. To our amazing lifeguards, sponsors, Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, directors, executives, and everyone working behind the scenes—this day wouldn’t have been possible without you.
A special thank you to DJ Rob for keeping the energy high all morning and to the Wayne High School Cheerleaders for bringing so much enthusiasm and encouragement to our young athletes. You helped make the day even more memorable!
And honestly, I think the rain made it even more fun! ☔💙 The smiles, laughter, and determination from our kids proved that a little rain couldn’t stop an amazing day.

It truly takes an entire team to create an event like this, and today showed what we can accomplish when we all work together. More pictures are coming soon, but for now, THANK YOU to our incredible Huber Heights YMCA family. We are one amazing team!
