Our PTO Cruise Night meal was a wonderful success, and it truly wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of our community!

We also want to thank everyone who volunteered their time to make the evening run so smoothly:
• Casey Johnson for setting up, serving the meal, and staying to help clean up!
• Doug Wagoner for grilling hamburgers and hot dogs!
• Sofia White for grilling hamburgers and hot dogs!
• Courtney Gaede for helping to serve the meal
• Erika Carter (and her kiddos!) for jumping in and helping with anything and everything that was needed!
• Renee's girls, Kymber & Karly, for helping throughout the evening.

It takes so many hands behind the scenes to plan, organize, shop, set up, cook, serve, clean up, and keep everything running, and we are incredibly grateful for every person who played a part.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out, enjoyed a meal, and supported our PTO through your free-will donations.

Every dollar raised will go directly back to the students and staff at Hoxie Elementary School, allowing the PTO to continue providing classroom support, student programs, special activities, teacher appreciation events, and so many of the extras that make our school such a wonderful place.

We are incredibly thankful for a community that continues to show up for our kids. ❤️

Cruise Night is almost here! 🚗🍔

The USD 412 PTO will be serving the Hoxie Rod Run Cruise Night Meal on Friday, June 19, beginning at 5:00 PM at the Bowen Scout House.

We'll have hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and bottled water available for a free will donation.

Every dollar raised helps the USD 412 PTO continue providing programs, activities, support, and enrichment opportunities for the students and staff at Hoxie Elementary School.

Whether you're coming for the cars, the community, or the food, we'd love to see you there!

As we wrap up another amazing school year, we wanted to send our staff into summer with a little fun and a whole lot of appreciation 💛

Last Thursday our PTO treated the incredible USD 412 Elementary staff to loaded teas as a small thank you for the countless hours, love, patience, encouragement, and energy they pour into our students every single day.

From teaching and guiding, to cheering kids on through every season of growth, you make our school such a special place. We are beyond thankful for each of you and all you do for our students, families, and community.

Here’s to summer break, sunshine, and a well deserved chance to recharge. We appreciate you more than words can say! ☀️💕

Our USD 412 PTO is gearing up for the Hoxie Rod Run Cruise Night Meal and we could use your help! ❤️🖤🤍

We are currently looking for both volunteers and donations to help make this event a success for our students, staff, and community. Whether you can donate supplies, help cook, serve meals, set up, clean up, or simply share this post, every bit of support truly makes a difference.

Our goal is to keep costs low and profits high so that our students and staff never have to wonder if there will be support for the opportunities, experiences, and extras that help make our school so special. From field trips and classroom needs to student enrichment and staff support, every dollar raised goes right back into our schools.

We are so thankful for a community that continually shows up for our kids and our schools. ❤️

Today, the 6th graders had the opportunity to surprise a teacher or staff member who made a lasting impact on their elementary years with a simple carnation and a heartfelt thank you. 🌸

These students chose teachers who made them feel safe, encouraged, supported, believed in, and loved throughout their time at Hoxie Grade School. We are so blessed to have such an amazing teaching staff and hope they always know just how appreciated they are!

As these students prepare to leave elementary school behind, we hope every flower served as a reminder that the little things our amazing educators do matter so much to these students. The encouragement, patience, laughter, and care poured into these kids will stay with them for years to come.

Thank you for helping shape who they are becoming!

We also want to give a special thank you to Ms. Werner and Miss Celeste for helping get the 6th graders to us while keeping this such a sweet surprise for the teachers and staff!

Today, USD 412 PTO had the extreme honor of helping share one of Mrs. Schamy’s favorite stories with the third graders as we celebrated the beautiful legacy she has left behind. ❤️

Mrs. Schamy’s classroom was always full of laughter, kindness, imagination, and the reminder that her students could do anything they set their minds to. We hope this story continues to remind everyone to dream big, be kind, and leave goodness wherever they go. ✨

Each third grader and grade school staff member received their own copy of The BFG featuring Mrs. Schamy’s signature inside, which is a special way to always keep a piece of her close and remember the joy, warmth, and magic she shared so freely with others.

A special thank you to Mrs. Frazey and Mrs. Robben for presenting this meaningful gift and helping carry Mrs. Schamy’s story forward in such a thoughtful way.

✨✨Linda Frazey talked to the kids about a LEGACY. If you have a Hoxie Elementary School third grader, ask them to tell you about what a legacy is and how they will leave one. There may be a treat for you at the end. ✨✨

What started as a simple Mrs. Frazey sucker turned into something so much bigger!

Students walked the halls searching for the staff member who has impacted their life. Someone who encouraged them, believed in them, listened to them, challenged them, or simply made them feel seen.

Watching those moments unfold was a powerful reminder that the little things truly are the big things.

The greetings in the hallway matter.

The patience during hard moments matters.

The encouragement, kindness, humor, and consistency matter.

Long after lessons are forgotten, students remember how people made them feel.

To our incredible USD 412 staff: thank you for showing up every single day and making a difference in the lives of children. Your impact reaches farther than you know. 💛
