MYSTERY READER: Third graders enjoyed Mrs. Austin as their mystery reader. This book, "Giraffes Can’t Dance," is Mrs. Austin’s favorite book and was part of our book tournament. Which book is going to win?

MIXING MATH, MEASUREMENTS & MINISTRY: To connect our math units on measurement and fractions with a meaningful act of service, the 4th graders spent time in the kitchen on Monday, baking cookies for the St. Joseph Feast Day Mass. As we measured, mixed, and worked together, we were reminded that even our classroom learning can be used to serve others and give glory to God.

These cookies, along with other desserts, will be shared with parishioners after Mass as a small token of our gratitude. Our students are truly thankful for the love, prayers, and unwavering support our parish community continues to show our school. It is a blessing for our children to grow, learn, and celebrate our faith surrounded by such a caring parish family.

MYSTERY READER: Fr. Brett was the mystery reader today in Ms. Austin's classroom, sharing the book "I'm a Saint in the Making." We are all called to be saints, and our students are learning how to do just that by performing simple acts of prayer, service and love.

EVER WONDERED WHAT WE DO WITH OLD PALMS? The Kindergarten families sent in last year’s palms this week. These blessed palms were placed in a special basket and will be burned so they can be used on Ash Wednesday. For those of you at home wondering.....don't throw them away - bury them, burn them, but don't pitch them!

PARENTS: Just a reminder, the back gate is being installed and will likely be completed by tomorrow.

NOTE FROM FR. GARY: As you recall, I announced that we will be installing a gate behind the Church that will close off Washington Street to help prevent the large amount of cut-through traffic in the Church parking lot. Please be advised that you will no longer be able to access the church parking lots from the back end of Washington Street (by the rectory). Thanks for understanding as we continue to make our campus safer for all!
