Japanese for Kidz

e was his first language until we moved to the US where English quickly replaced Japanese. My husband (I got remarried!) and I don't typically speak Japanese at home so we sent our oldest daughter to Japanese preschool for about a year and half in Novi, MI where she learned a lot about Japanese and Japanese culture. When she started elementary school, I started volunteering to teach Japanese in her class. I am currently researching tons of fun links that will support the kids with the language they are being introduced to and thought what better way to bring them all together in once place - Japanese for Kidz Page. My youngest is also very interested in Japanese and seems to soak it up quite naturally. My hope is that this page will keep Japanese a focus in our home as well as introduce other children to a language and culture that is fun and has so much to offer.
