Three Fires Elementary

This November, Howell Public Schools residents will be asked to consider two ballot proposals related to the district’s non-homestead operating millage. If approved, one proposal would renew the current millage, while the other would restore millage authorization that has been reduced due to Headlee Amendment rollbacks.

Between now and Election Day, we will share facts and information about the proposals to help our community understand what will appear on the ballot.

Hi everyone! I am very excited to be joining Three Fires as a first grade teacher! I have recently graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) so this will be my first year of teaching!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, watching football, and traveling. I am eager to build a welcoming and positive classroom community where my students are excited to learn and grow.

Hello Three Fires Families! My name is Sophia Zaleski and I am overjoyed to be joining the 1st grade team. I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching in 1st grade this past year with Mrs. Hahn as my mentor teacher.

I recently graduated from Michigan State University (go green!) and am from Troy, Michigan. My favorite things to do are laugh with friends and family, try local coffee shops and restaurants, and go up north to my cottage on Burt Lake. I cannot wait to begin this school year and look forward to more joy and learning!

I’m so excited to be joining Three Fires as the school psychologist! I’m a second-year school psychologist and earned my specialist degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Outside of school, I enjoy running, camping, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I’m especially looking forward to getting to know the team and families and supporting our students throughout the school year. I’m so happy to be here and can’t wait to meet everyone!

Hello, Three Fires!

I’m excited to join Three Fires as the Positive Culture Coordinator! My goal is to help students build healthy coping skills, manage emotions, and develop a positive mindset so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and live in Howell with my husband, Chris. We have two adult children. Before joining Three Fires, I spent 16 years as an Instructional Assistant at Hutchings Elementary. Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I’m looking forward to getting to know the students, staff, and families and becoming part of the Three Fires community.

Hello, Three Fires families!

My name is Rachel Radick, and I am so excited to be joining the third-grade team this year! Some of you may recognize me, as I've been fortunate to be part of the Three Fires family for the past four years. During that time, I've served as a Behavior Interventionist and, most recently, as the Positive Culture Coordinator. I feel incredibly thankful to already know so many wonderful students and staff members as I begin my first year of teaching!

A little about me—I am a proud Howell Public Schools alum! I graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Child Development. After plenty of encouragement from my friends and colleagues, I decided to return to school to earn my teaching certificate!

Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at home with my dog.

I am thrilled to continue my journey here as a Timberwolf, and I’m looking forward to an amazing year ahead!
