⛳🎒 This past Friday, we hosted our 5th Annual Backpacks for Kids Charity Golf Outing at The Majestic in Hartland, and it was a blast!

A total of 196 golfers joined us on the course for a day filled with fun, friendly competition, and fundraising in support of local students. There were plenty of great golf shots, a few big winners, and a TON of smiles throughout the day.

Events like this take an incredible amount of planning and support, and we couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers, sponsors, golfers, donors, and community partners. Your generosity and dedication help make a difference for students and families across Livingston County.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 5th annual outing such a success. We're grateful for a community that continues to rally around this important cause and help ensure students have the supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn!

🎓 Over the past few weeks, graduation and completion ceremonies have been taking place across Livingston ESA. Today, we're proud to celebrate the graduates of our PREP Program!

This year, four remarkable young adults are completing their journey at LESA and beginning exciting new chapters of their lives. We had a wonderful time honoring their accomplishments and bringing together families, friends, and staff to reflect on their growth, achievements, and bright futures ahead.

Congratulations to the PREP Class of 2026! We are so proud of all you have accomplished. No matter where your path leads, you'll always be part of the LESA family. ❤️

A&F Wood is a wonderful community partner for our PREP and STEP programs, providing work-based learning experiences for learners and exceeding standards for accessibility. Their workplace is inclusive and welcoming, and has provided a wonderful opportunity to help students expand their vocational skills.

Our PREP learner, Cody, had a wonderful experience working there and grew both personally and professionally through the opportunity. He gained confidence, developed new skills, and enjoyed being part of such a supportive environment. Thank you, A&F!!

You can find a list of community partners, like A&F Wood, on the Adult Transition page of the LESA website: https://www.livingstonesa.org/page/adult-transition-services

🕵️‍♀️ There’s a mystery afoot in the WAY Forensic Science class! Students are officially on the case, analyzing evidence, examining data, and working together to figure out “who done it.” 🔎📋

Projects like this are just one example of how WAY Livingston+ makes learning engaging, hands-on, and flexible for students who may not thrive in a traditional classroom setting.

WAY Livingston+ is designed for students who:
• Want to finish high school outside of a traditional classroom
• Need support staying on track to graduate
• Want access to advanced classes not offered at their school

With 24/7 access to certified teachers, students can complete coursework anytime and learn at their own pace — while still building connections through our Learning Lab at the Ed Center and interactive projects led by our incredible teachers. ✨
