As our Supervisor for Specialized Transportation, Dawn has a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, supported, and valued. Whether she’s helping a learner, supporting a family, mentoring a coworker, or stepping in wherever her team needs her, she leads by showing up for others. Her willingness to help, encourage, and care for those around her has made a lasting impact on learners, families, staff, and the community.

Twenty-five years. Thousands of backpacks. One incredible community legacy. đź’™

This week, we had the opportunity to celebrate 25 years of the Backpacks for Kids program and honor some of the women whose leadership and service helped make it all possible.

The legacy left by these women, along with so many others, is incredible. They recognized a need, chose to act, rallied others, and did all they could to help their community.

As we celebrate 25 years of this amazing community tradition, we hope to reach another exciting milestone: 25,000 backpacks distributed!
