I always browse the garden Facebook groups to see if I can help someone. Questions like this come up all of the time.

In my prior garden educator life I thought all people knew this, but have found more and more they don't. And it's not your fault. If you were never taught, how would you know.

Perennials come back every year, but all plants have a time period in which they bloom. Most don't bloom all year long.
If this is important to you take some time and research the beloved plants you want to plant to see when and how long they bloom. It is possibly to have color all season ans year long!!

This is your friendly reminder, make sure your pots have drainage holes. 🤦‍♀️

Many pots require you to punch out the drainage holes. This important step was forgotten in my excitement of planting my new pots last year.

Fast forward to today...I had a smelly, mosquito haven buried under my potting soil. Not the first thing you want your guests to smell and see.

The things we do for our fundraisers!

The final fundraisers didn't sell enough for a delivery. But we still wanted to make sure they were taken care of. So Mike and I drove to pick everything up!

We do not have a cube truck, just an enclosed trailer. Mike worked his magic to "hopefully" fit everything when we arrived.
We got to our growing partner and let me tell you, it was a tight fit. But...with plants in the floor board between my feet and on my lap the entire way home, we did it! (Grassy looking plants are literally in my lap, lol)
I don't think my truck has been so packed with palnts before.
But...the fundraisers are taken care of and we will be able to donate funds to make an impact in our community!!

Busy week of community impact!!

Delivered many, many flower fundraiser plant orders this week. Mike and I are honored and pooped.
