📱 GETTING STARTED WITH THRILLSHARE ROOMS! 💬

Howe ISD families in grades 3–12 will use Thrillshare Rooms to stay connected with teachers, coaches, classrooms, and important school information throughout the year!

Rooms is built right into the Howe ISD app and gives parents one convenient place to:

📣 Receive classroom announcements and reminders
💬 Send and receive messages with teachers, staff, and coaches
📚 View classes and classroom information
🔔 Choose how you receive notifications
🌎 Use automatic translation to communicate in your preferred language

🚨 IMPORTANT: YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION

To access your student in Rooms, you MUST use the phone number OR email address that is on file in Ascender. This should be the same contact information you used when enrolling or registering your child in Ascender. After entering your phone number or email address, you will receive a 6-digit verification code to complete your sign-in. If Rooms does not recognize your information, double-check that you are using the same phone number or email address listed in your student's Ascender account.

📲 GET STARTED:

1️⃣ Download or open the Howe ISD app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

2️⃣ Tap Rooms at the bottom of the app.

3️⃣ Sign in using the phone number or email address on file in Ascender and enter your verification code.

4️⃣ Select your student and tap a class to view announcements, reminders, and class information.

5️⃣ Go to More → Settings → Notification Preferences and turn on Messages and Announcements so you don't miss important updates!

💡 Have more than one Howe ISD student? You can use the student drop-down menu inside Rooms to switch between your children.

🌎 Need another language? Rooms includes automatic translation, and you can change your language preference from the More menu.

⚠️ Please note: Thrillshare Rooms is used for students in grades 3–12. Families of students in Pre-K through 2nd grade will continue to use Seesaw for classroom communication.

🚗 IMPORTANT CAR RIDER UPDATE — EFFECTIVE TOMORROW!

Summit Hill Elementary is making a small change to our morning drop-off procedures to help improve traffic flow and make arrival safer and smoother for everyone.

🚙 PREK–1ST GRADE
Please use the furthest RIGHT-HAND lane when entering the school parking lot. Students will be dropped off on the WEST side of the school.

🚗 2ND–4TH GRADE
Please use the furthest LEFT-HAND lane when entering the parking lot. Stay in the left lane, continue around the parking lot in the back, and drop students off on the EAST side of the school.

📍 Please follow the arrows and directions on the updated map to ensure everyone is using the correct route.
