The Pride of Howe Leadership Team is officially in full planning mode! 🎺💙

✔️ Squad assignments are set, and your leaders will be reaching out soon! (If for some reason you don't hear from anyone in the next few days, it could be that we don't have your number or your name on our roster. Just reach out!)
✔️ Theme days, games, and plenty of fun for band camp (and beyond!) are in the works.
✔️ We also put together an Amazon wish list in case anyone would like to help with some of our camp supplies—from fun extras to safety essentials. ☀️( Sunscreen is definitely on the list...because Texas doesn't care how much band pride you have!)

It's going to be an incredible season, and we can't wait to get started! Pride of Howe...countdown is on! 💙🎶

The Pride of Howe is proud to announce our 2026–27 Leadership Team and Support Team Members!

We had SO many outstanding students apply and interview for these positions this year. I wish I could adequately express just how proud I am of every single student who was willing to step up and serve our band program. The quality of the applications and interviews was absolutely lights out!

I am so excited about the group of students who will be helping lead The Pride of Howe this year, and I can't wait to see what we accomplish together. The future is bright, and marching season can't get here soon enough!

Congratulations to all of our leaders and support team members. Let's get to work and make 2026–27 a year to remember!

Please join us in giving a warm Pride of Howe welcome to our newest band staff member, Mrs. Harmony Porras!

Mrs. Porras is an outstanding musician and band director, and we are so excited to have her join our team! (And here’s a fun bit of trivia—her father was a band director, and her mother is a proud Howe Class of ’84 alum who was part of the very first Pride of Howe State Marching Championship band! 😊)

We’re thrilled to add her energy, passion, and expertise to our program, and we know our students are going to love working with her.

Congratulations to the 2024-25 Pride of Howe Leadership team and the Support Team members! This group has a TON of passion for our program and I’m excited to get to work and show everyone “Howe to Celebrate”!

Most days they make me crazy…but they also make me proud to be their director. ❤️ And while it’s not all about the ratings, straight ones sure are nice! 😊

Congrats to our Flute Trio, Clarinet Choir & Percussion Ensemble-“Rogue Agent” for receiving 1st divisions and advancing to state!
