On Friday, we held our End-of-the-Year Awards Ceremony and celebrated the many accomplishments of our students. Numerous reading awards were presented, and an impressive eleven students earned more than 100 A.R. points this year! A special congratulations goes to Patrick, who earned an outstanding 313 A.R. points and received a special medal for his achievement.

We also recognized Charlotte and Sutton with the Principal's Award for consistently demonstrating excellent behavior throughout the school year. It was wonderful to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and success of so many students. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished this year! 🎉📚🏅

On Friday, we held our annual Walk-a-thon, and the weather turned out to be perfect—not too hot and great for walking and running laps. Students participated in honor of the money they raised for Make-A-Wish, showing amazing enthusiasm and support throughout the event.

A special thank you goes to A Pinch of Beauty for providing Sunset Slush for every student. We would also like to thank Howard Christian Church, Howard Methodist Church, Beck's Frame, S & R Repairing, Twin Kiss, and Pizza Mia for helping make this event such a success.

Lastly, thank you to all of the students, families, and community members who donated to Make-A-Wish and supported this wonderful cause. Overall, the day was a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone involved!

During the month of May, students are working together to earn different colored Soaring Eagle tickets to complete our school rainbow! Each ticket earned helps add another color to the rainbow. If the rainbow is completed by the end of the month, students will celebrate their hard work and positive behavior with delicious rainbow sundaes!
