The Howard Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) exists to enhance the educational experience of our students and promote a strong community between staff and families of Howard Elementary. The group typically meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Some of the activities the PTO organizes include the Fall into Reading Night Pasta Dinner, Popcorn Fridays and fun family give back nights. The group also supports teachers by sponsoring a twice yearly Book Fair, which earns books for the school and classroom libraries; hosting teacher meals during meetings and conferences; granting teacher requests for classroom supplies and teaching materials; and funding field trip transportation.
