We had extra time this week as their older siblings were out of town, so with a little imagination and some craft supplies, we came up with useful, educational decor for their piano room! Happy Spring Break! Glad I got to spend it with my students while they enjoyed a break from school! 💜🎹💜

Our Christmas recital was a success! So proud of all these students! Thank you to everyone that made it to support them today! I appreciate the cookie and punch donations! They made for a delicious reception! Also thank you to my husband, Brian Baumgartel, for running sound, my MIL and FIL, Marlin and Nadine Baumgartel, for keeping the kitchen duties under control! Thank you to Howard First Baptist for the use of the building today! Merry Christmas to all! 💜🎹🌲

The Fredonia studio is closing. Thursday, August 17th is my last day teaching in Fredonia. Please come by the Fellowship Hall at the First Christian Church in Fredonia from 430-530 and enjoy sweets made by bffbakery.com. Students who attend will be entered in drawings to win one of the 3 theory board games we have made together through out the years!

This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have made, but is necessary for health reasons. Thank you for your support through the years! 💜🎹💜

We will still be making music in Howard! I do have a few spots unclaimed! Come by the studio Monday -Thursday!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Fredonia studio is closing. Last day of lessons in Fredonia will be August 17th.
This has been a very difficult decision to make, but is necessary for health reasons.
I will be teaching in Howard Monday-Thursday beginning August 28th.

Polly loved everyone she knew. She crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday morning with piano music playing in the background. This is a collection of pictures from my phone… find a reason to smile today!! Polly ALWAYS did! 💜All of us at the studio will love her forever.

Students from my Howard studio had a great time at Howard Fall Festival on Saturday! Our float included a moving piano recital and won first place! We also had a recital on the big stage downtown that evening! Thank you David Oakleaf for allowing us to use your stage and sound equipment!
We will use our prize Chamber bucks on an ice cream party at Batson’s soon!

Reminder that the studio is closed this week!
I had already cancelled Wednesday and Thursday lessons to attend a concert with my daughter for my birthday, but unfortunately Covid had other plans. 🥺 I’m breathing better today, but still pretty sad to miss time with my girl and an awesome concert. I will see everyone back in the studio next week! 💜🎹💜

This morning: “Hemoglobin is 9.2 and platelets are at 110,000!! Wahoo. Think we are busting out sometime today ! Real test will be Monday when labs are repeated. Transfusions often always make it jump, so Monday will be so important”
