Meetings start next Wednesday at 2:30 in Mr. Daum's room (218). Amy Rose and Cori have great news to share. Mr. Daum is going to start a TC writing project, we need to start planning for Poetry Slam, and we need to discuss books and writing. Can't wait. Old members, find some new ones--let's get this started.

Back to school--getting into our routine--almost time for SAGA to meet. Stay tuned and pass the word; we're coming back, and fun things are in the works.

Great Tri County First Annual Poetry Slam! We had 23 participants. Jillian took home 1st with Kodi and Leah taking second, and Collin rounded out the awards. It wasn't the points that matter; it was the poetry that matters. Can't wait for the second Poetry Slam.

I had a fun time chasing Mav around playing with Star Wars toys; the students, however, were busy capturing character voice and action to help define characters. We can't begin to thank Amy Rose Capetta - Author and Cori McCarthy (Author) enough!

It will be fun to see what everyone writes in the next two weeks (next meeting is Feb. 22). Time is running out in the school year, so make sure you're utilizing your time with these two generous and great authors.

SAGA can't begin to thank Amy Rose Capetta - Author and Cori McCarthy (Author) enough for all that they do for us. Without their guidance, this is what we would yell at each other.

Great day today working with plot. Take away quote, "Writing is a continuous process, so we are all learning."
