We are so excited to celebrate two Tri County Elementary teachers, Emily Wardell, a kindergarten teacher, and Jennell Olszewski, a 3rd grade teacher, who were recently selected by TalentFirst to receive a Classroom Library Grant to support their early literacy efforts!

This competitive grant recognizes their dedication to helping young students become successful readers, their commitment to growing as educators, and the work they are doing every day to create meaningful experiences in their classrooms.

We’re so proud of the time, heart, and energy Emily and Jennell put into helping our youngest Vikings grow as readers. We can’t wait to see their classroom libraries grow!

Good evening Viking Nation! We want to remind you that Wednesday, October 7th, is COUNT DAY! This is a very important day for all schools in the state of Michigan, as all students are counted on this day. As you may know, funding for public schools is based on the number of students attending.
We ask that you make every effort to make sure your students are in attendance all day on Wednesday and if for some unforeseen reason your child is absent, please be sure to contact your child's school to excuse your student. We thank you for your cooperation in this important day for Tri County Area Schools, as we continue to Educate, Empower, and Encourage our students!
