Your laser bed looking like a crime scene after every project? 🔥Yeah, mine too. After months of scrubbing honeycomb and getting nowhere, I stumbled onto a fix that costs about two bucks and takes maybe 60 seconds. Tin foil. Seriously.

Just finished a new coaster build from oiled Acacia Coasters (15 mm) (Bought at Hobby Lobby) with photo and full settings are up on the new xTool M2 Laser. This piece celebrates honest materials and simple craftsmanship: warm, oil finish, rich grain, and a subtle laser‑engraved logo that adds rustic character without hiding the wood. Laser marks are mid‑tone and smoky (10W diode — surface marking (Engraving) only). Knots add personality but can darken more; test first Easy care: wipe clean, re‑oil occasionally .

“So Others May Live” four words that carry a lot of weight, and this week I got to put them on something people can actually hold onto.

These are Navy Rescue Swimmer keychains (using the old school SAR logo), cut and engraved on the xTool M2 Laser I’ve been running through its paces for the channel. Four leather colors because I couldn’t pick a favorite, plus a matching wood coaster because self-control isn’t really my thing when a design turns out this clean.
