☕️💙 KLENK PTO STAFF BREAK ROOM UPDATE! 💙☕️

Y’ALL. 🥹🙌🏽 YOU DID THAT! 😍

When we said we wanted to STOCK THE STAFF BREAK ROOM, y’all said:

“SAY LESS.” 😭🙌🏽

Because of the incredible generosity of our Klenk families, our staff break room is officially STOCKED! 🎉

A HUGE THANK YOU to every family who signed up and donated! Every single item makes a difference and helps us create a space where our teachers and staff can enjoy some of the simple things we sometimes take for granted — plates, cups, utensils, straws, and so much more. 🥹❤️

And here’s a little reminder: you don’t have to be right down the street to make a difference! ❤️💙 Whether you’re near or far, there are always ways to show up and support our Klenk staff. In fact, our Keurig and coffee donation traveled all the way from VIRGINIA! 👀🙌🏽

A SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT to the families who donated our Keurig, coffee pot, and NutriBullet! ☕️🥤 These thoughtful donations are going to make those long school days just a little more enjoyable. ❤️

We hope to make STOCK THE STAFF BREAK ROOM a tradition for our Klenk family — finding simple ways to show up for our staff and make a BIG impact on their day. Because sometimes, it’s the little things that remind our teachers and staff just how much they are appreciated. 🥹❤️💙

We are still planning to meet tomorrow morning! We’re keeping an eye on KISD weather updates in case of a campus closure due to inclement weather and will update everyone as soon as possible if anything changes.

🚨🚨 KLENK FAMILIES, WE NEED YOU! 🚨🚨

Okay friends… we’re going to be real with y’all. 😭

Our Stock the Break Room drive is THIS THURSDAY, and right now we only have TWO families signed up. 🤧

Our teachers give SO much to our kids every single day. We’d love to give them a little something back — a stocked break room, a full coffee pot, and some snacks to grab when they need a quick pick-me-up. ❤️☕🍪

But we can’t do it without our Klenk families!

You don’t have to spend a lot. Even one box of granola bars, a case of water, a bag of chips, or a container of coffee creamer makes a difference.

And if you have a small breakroom appliance sitting at home that isn’t getting much love anymore — Keurigs and coffee makers are welcome too! 👀☕

🚨☕️ OPERATION: KEEP THE TEACHERS FUNCTIONAL ☕️🚨

We’re on a mission to stock the Klenk teacher breakroom with the little things that make a BIG difference throughout the school year! ❤️

Think of it as a Teacher Lounge Survival Kit! Sometimes a teacher needs a snack, a coffee, and approximately 47 seconds of peace. 😂

We’re collecting things like:

☕️ Coffee & creamer
💧 Cases of water
🥤 Cups & straws
🍽️ Disposable plates & utensils
🧻 Napkins
🍿 Snacks & goodies
…and other little things to keep our teachers fueled, refreshed, and feeling appreciated!

☕️ WE’RE ALSO LOOKING FOR SMALL APPLIANCE DONATIONS! 👀

Have a Keurig, traditional coffee pot, or other small breakroom appliance you’d like to donate?

👀 WE WANT IT.

If you have a gently used appliance sitting at home collecting dust and thinking, “I have a purpose!” — THIS IS ITS MOMENT. 😂🙌🏼

AND HERE’S THE BEST PART 👇🏼

💙 This is a GREAT way to volunteer without actually having to be on campus! We know so many of our Klenk families would LOVE to volunteer, but work schedules, younger kiddos, appointments, and life in general sometimes make that impossible. We get it! 🙌🏼 So if you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could help, but I can’t be there during the school day…”

You can still make a difference by sending in a box of snacks, a case of water, some coffee, or even a small appliance that can help make our teacher breakroom a little more welcoming.

🧊☀️ DISMISSAL CREW, WE SEE YOU! ☀️🧊

Y’ALL. 🥵

Because apparently Texas looked at August and said, “How hot can we make this?” and then just kept turning the dial. 🔥😂 It was a high of 100 degrees, but it felt like 1,000! 🔥 🥵

And as if the Texas heat wasn’t enough, Picture Day chaos entered the chat. 📸😂 Between getting kiddos where they needed to be, making sure everyone looked picture-perfect, surviving the schedule shuffle, AND then heading outside for dismissal… Y’ALL DESERVE A TROPHY. 🏆

Every single afternoon, our incredible Klenk dismissal crew is OUT THERE making sure our kiddos get home safely. 🚗🚌💙

So our wonderful PTO VP, Krystal 😍Krystal Marie , decided they deserved a little Klenk PTO cool-down! 🧊🍧

Krystal donated popsicles for our teachers and staff working dismissal because if they’re going to be out there sweating for our babies, the LEAST we can do is help them survive the Texas heat. 😂

And naturally, we had to make it official with our “Dismissal Can Be HOT… But YOU Keep It COOL!” tags. 😎🍧

And this is just ONE of the many things we have planned throughout the year to show our Klenk teachers and staff just how much we appreciate everything they do for our students and our school. 💙❤️

We may not be able to control the Texas weather, tame Picture Day, or make dismissal magically less chaotic… 😂 but we CAN make sure our staff know they are seen, appreciated, and loved! 🥹🐾

To our dismissal crew: THANK YOU. ❤️
Thank you for standing out there every. single. day.
Thank you for keeping eyes on our kiddos.
Thank you for making sure everyone gets where they need to go safely.
And thank you for doing it while Texas is actively trying to cook y’all alive. 🫠🔥

🌡️🍧 PART 2: THE COOL-DOWN CREW! 🍧🌡️

Because apparently we weren’t the only ones who thought a popsicle sounded like the best idea in this HOT. TEXAS. HEAT. 🥵😂

Even our Principal and APs had to get in on the popsicle action for a quick photo! 😂👏 We love seeing our Klenk leadership out there supporting our dismissal crew and staff — especially on these “why does it feel like the sun is personally attacking us?” kind of afternoons. ☀️😭

A HUGE thank-you again to our wonderful PTO VP, Krystal, for donating popsicles and helping us show a little love to the incredible staff members who are out there every afternoon making sure our kiddos get home safely. 💙🍧

💙 HOMEROOM HELPERS, WE SEE YOU! 💙

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for Homeroom Helpers today! 🥰✂️📎 You showed up, got things done, and helped our teachers in all those little behind-the-scenes ways that make a BIG difference!

And here’s your friendly reminder from your PTO President who is currently doing cutout work at her daughter’s gymnastics class because… PTO LIFE. 😭✂️

Being involved doesn’t always mean you have to be on campus! 🫡

Sometimes it looks like:
✂️ Taking cutouts home
📎 Stapling packets from your kitchen table
📚 Sorting materials while the kids are at practice
📝 Prepping something during your lunch break
💻 Helping with a project from your couch in your pajamas 👀

We welcome volunteers ALWAYS, and NO role is too small. Whether you can give us 20 minutes, 2 hours, or just help with something from home — we have a place for you here. 💙

Our only ask for volunteers who want to work on campus is that you MUST have a background check completed through Raptor/Klein ISD.

And listen… the process is QUICK. 😂
You’ll be done before you even finish doom-scrolling. 👀📱
