Good afternoon parents,

Due to the possibility of the tropical storm Arthur, we have decided to cancel our program for this week. We plan to resume operations on Monday, June 22 where students will go to the auditorium starting at 8:30 AM. We always prioritize student safety over attendance, so if at any point you are unable to attend just let us know. Any students arriving late (where auditorium is empty) must go to the PREP office located on the 7th floor in room South-722. They will be assigned their groups and PAs there, before heading out to their schedule.

The auditorium can be located on the 3rd floor of the Main Building, where we will have PAs in Houston PREP shirts to help guide them. Based on our room schedule, it seems that we will be in the Shea Street Building for majority of the program. This would involve a lot of walking, so please make sure to be weather aware, in case they need umbrellas for the rain or sun.

I was notified that UHD now has an emergency notification system in place for the summer. Please follow the attached file for instructions on how to receive text messages based on UHD closures, since Travis Street tends to flood often.
