We are closely monitoring local weather updates regarding the potential tropical storm. At this time, KIPP CONNECT will operate on normal school hours tomorrow.

The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. KIPP Texas leadership and campus administrators will continue to track weather conditions overnight. If any changes to our schedule or operations become necessary, we will send an update early tomorrow morning.

It’s Book Fair time at KIPP CONNECT Primary! 📚✨

Our Scholastic Book Fair returns October 5-9—scholars can explore amazing books all week! Families, join us in the library during Family Conference Day on Friday, October 9.

Are you ready to join the KIPP Family Association and support our school community this year? Join us for Coffee & Chat on Wednesday, September 16, at 8:45 AM in the KC Cafeteria!

Enjoy a warm cup of coffee while connecting with fellow KIPP CONNECT Primary families. During this welcoming morning gathering, you will learn more about the KIPP Family Association, upcoming school events, important attendance information, and key school-year updates from Mr. Daniel, Mr. Kyle, and Ms. Holcomb.

This is a great opportunity to build community, ask questions, learn how you can support our school, and stay informed. We look forward to seeing you there as we begin a joyful and connected school year together!

Please take five minutes today to review our arrival and dismissal procedures. Knowing the correct times, entrances, and expectations will help run things smoothly for everyone!

Arrival Reminder
Students in PK3 AM through 5th grade who arrive after 7:25 a.m. may not be dropped off in the back of the school or left unattended.

Families must park, walk late-arriving students to the front office, and sign them in.

Students must be accompanied by an adult. Siblings under age 18 are not considered adults.

Morning Entry
PK3, PK4, and GAIN students will enter through Door A13.

PK4 students who need breakfast may walk to the cafeteria after entering through Door A13.

Kindergarten through 5th-grade students will enter through the cafeteria.

Students who would like breakfast must arrive in the cafeteria by 7:15 a.m.

Dismissal Reminders
Early dismissal is not available after 2:00 p.m.

Every scholar must be released using their HEART dismissal card.

If you do not have your HEART, go to the front office and show identification so staff can verify you are authorized to pick up your child.

Our amazing Second Grade Stars are dancing through the weekend with Ms. Rana and the team! From big smiles to awesome moves, our students know that learning, laughter, and movement make every day brighter.

Turn up your favorite family-friendly song, clear a little space, and join our virtual dance party from home! Invite your child to show off their best moves, create a new dance step together, or simply dance like nobody’s watching.

Today, we gathered as a CONNECTed community for the first time this school year—and it felt EPIC!

More than 1,100 little campers filled the room to celebrate milestones, joyful learning, and the incredible energy that makes CONNECT so special. From an exciting Teacher vs. Students competition to recognizing our ClassDojo winners, the celebration was full of smiles, cheers, and CAMPER pride!

Huge congratulations to Ms. Zepeda, Mr. Gamez, and Ms. Ezzell on earning the Strong Start Award. Your hard work, positive spirit, and dedication to our campers are truly inspiring.
