Hello, Members,
We are off to a very busy semester. Today, my honors Precalgebra students will give their honors presentations for the College Algebra portion of their class. This is a fun group of students. We will enjoy some lunch and then proceed to grow our minds with all of the wonderful presentations. Honors math is indeed flourishing at the North campus.

On Friday, February 19, the club made a trip to the San Jacinto Monument and the Battleship Texas. The weather was perfect and the time spent was educational and fun.
We are planning a trip on Nov. 20th to the Museum to see the exhibit on mummies. Tickets will be discounted at $7. We will also eat lunch at St. Paul's Methodist. The church has graciously allowed us to park at their site, so we can walk to the museum. Other things are planned so the trip should be fun!

We sold over 64 cupcakes of different toppings and flavors! We also sold about 37 chocolate brownie cakes in just 2 hours!!

It is good to know that this page exists. I would like to congratulate Erika for stepping up to work on the probability problem that I wrote on the board. It was a classical example of Bayes' Theorem.
