The Bear Blvd. School SBISD The Bear Blvd. School is an Early Learning school in Spring Branch Independent School District.

The school includes 18 classrooms and a central courtyard with playscapes, a tricycle track and a climbing hill. We are home to approximately 300 children from 6 different elementary schools in Spring Branch ISD. We are a culturally responsive campus providing Bilingual Spanish and Mainstream/English as a Second Language classes. There are approximately 18 children in PK3 classes and 22 children i

n PK4 classes with a highly qualified teacher and assistant in each class. We enjoy the expertise and support of our Behavior and Academic Interventionists, Communities in Schools Specialist, Diagnostician, and Speech Therapist. Mission Statement:
To create self-motivated, life-long learners, we provide a developmentally appropriate, integrated curriculum that aligns with the state Pre-K Guidelines and enhances the social/emotional, intellectual, aesthetic, and physical development of each child while nurturing autonomy, self-esteem, and success. Transition to Kindergarten
We prepare children for Kindergarten success by nurturing a solid foundation in both academic and social/emotional learning. We support the transition to their Kindergarten school by networking with the teachers and visiting the school.

Today, we welcomed back a very special Bear! 🐻
In 2012, Sergio Aguilera began his journey at Bear Blvd as a Pre-K student in Mr. Hernandez’s class. This spring, he graduates from Westchester Academy for International Studies, and this fall, he will begin an exciting new chapter at Rice University majoring in Chemical Engineering.

Sergio, your dedication, strength, and perseverance have been an inspiration to the Bear community. We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and cannot wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you. Once a Bear, always a Bear! 💙💛

En 2012, Sergio Aguilera comenzó su camino en Bear Blvd como estudiante de preescolar en la clase del Maestro Hernández. We are incredibly proud to work at Spring Branch ISD! Our district have amazing staff, teachers and leaders whose hard work and dedication has made possible the recognition given to our district! We love our students and they are the reason we come to work every morning! We thank the families who have entrusted us their children! They are in great hands!

Spring Branch ISD has been recognized by Harvard University’s Education Scorecard as a “District on the Rise” and one of only 108 districts nationwide (and the only one in Texas!) demonstrating continued academic growth in both reading and math at a faster rate than peers.

This distinction reflects the work happening every day across our schools through strong instruction, student support systems and a commitment to preparing Every Child for success.

We are grateful to our teachers, staff, students, families and community for making this achievement possible.

Today wrapped up a wonderful week of parent picnics here at Bear Blvd!
It was a joy seeing our families come together, sharing smiles, great food, and quality time under the sun. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make these days so special for our students.
