West Houston Tamil School [Westheimer] is a non-profit school run entirely by volunteers with the objective of teaching Tamil. We are affiliated with HTS.
West Houston (Westheimer) Tamil School affiliated with Greater Houston Tamil School (HTS) was started in Dec 2013 with 14 students and 2 teachers with the objective of teaching Tamil, an ancient and literature-rich South Asian classical language. மேற்கு ஹூஸ்டன் தமிழ்ப் பள்ளியின் 2026ம் ஆண்டு பொங்கல் விழா பிப்ரவரி 8ஆம் தேதி இனிதே நடந்து முடிந்தது. மாணவர்களின் திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்தும் விதமாக பல கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடந்தன. தமிழ்மொழி மற்றும் பண்பாட்டை அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு பரப்பும் நோக்கில் இந்த விழா முக்கிய பங்காற்றியது. கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்பித்த HTS நிர்வாகிகளுக்கும், மாணவர்கள், பெற்றோர் அனைவருக்கும் மிக்க நன்றி.

மேற்கு ஹூஸ்டன் தமிழ்ப்பள்ளியில் கடந்த ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை ஆகஸ்ட் 10 அன்று பெற்றோர் வரவேற்புக் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. விழாவை தலைமையேற்று நடத்திய முதல்வர் திரு. சல்மான் சித்திக் அனைவரையும் வரவேற்று, பள்ளியின் நிர்வாகக்குழுவையும் ஆசிரியர்களையும் அறிமுகப்படுத்தி பள்ளி குறித்த தகவல்களையும், கடந்த கல்வியாண்டின் நிதி அறிக்கையையும் பகிர்ந்தார்.
ஹூஸ்டன் பெருநகரத் தமிழ்ப்பள்ளியின் (HTS) தலைவர் திரு. கோகுல் நாகராஜன் HTS பற்றிய அறிமுகத்தையும் கல்விசார் செயல்பாடுகளையும் விவரித்தார். செயலாளர் திரு. சங்கர் கண்ணன் HTS-இன் திறச்சான்றிதழ் (accreditation) மற்றும் மேம்பட்ட கல்வித்தரத்தைப் பற்றிப் பேசினார். இணைச் செயலாளர் திருமதி. ராதிகா பாரி நிர்வாகக்குழுவில் பெண்கள் சேரவேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்தி வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினார்.
ஹூஸ்டன் பெருநகரத்தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தின் செயலாளர் திரு. முத்துராஜூ சங்கு மற்றும் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப இயக்குநர் திரு. ஹரிகிருஷ்ணன் சங்கத்தின் செய்லபாடுகளை விவரித்தனர்.
PTC பிரதிநிதி சுதாகர் நன்றியுரை வழங்கி விழாவில் தேநீர் மற்றும் சிற்றிடையுணவு நன்கொடையாக அளித்த நாகாஸ் உணவகத்துக்கும் (Nagas Restaurant) நன்றி தெரிவித்தார்.
மேற்கு ஹூஸ்டன் தமிழ்ப்பள்ளி சார்பாக பள்ளிக் குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவருக்கும் வாழ்த்துகள்!

Dear Parents,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you and your children to the 2025–26 academic year. As in previous years, we look forward to your continued support at every step along the way.
We sincerely thank all the parents who registered their children as early as May. We’re proud to share that West Houston Tamil School has the highest number of registrations among all the schools under the Greater Houston Tamil School (HTS).
We especially welcome all new families to our school community and invite everyone to join us for *Orientation Day* on Sunday, August 10th at 4:00 PM to be held at 8925 Lipan Road, Houston Texas 77036.
This will be a one-hour event that includes a brief overview of both HTS and West Houston Tamil School.
