Meet AWC at UH’s digital communication coordinator, Vanezza Ramos! She is graduating this May with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor Mexican American studies. She is interning for FOX 26 this semester and in the future, she looks forward to pursuing a career in broadcast journalism as a news reporter. Her favorite part about being a member and officer of AWC is that she gets to meet new people, experience new things and have fun during Bond Week. Get to know Vanezza and our other officers at our first meeting of the semester on Tuesday, Feb. 13!

Meet AWC at UH’s secretary, Julianne Echavarria! She is graduating this May with a major in public relations and a minor in business administration. She’s interned as the Corporate Communications Intern at CenterPoint Energy in the past, and in the future, she looks forward to pursuing a career in public relations, marketing or education. Her favorite part about being a member and officer of AWC is that she gets to network, make new friends and develop professionally. Meet AWC at UH’s Vice President, Maryam Hussain! She is currently a junior majoring in journalism and integrated communication. In the past, she’s interned as the PR and Marketing Intern at Helping Hand for Relief and Development and has recently joined The Daily Cougar team as a Copy Editor. In the future, Maryam hopes to pursue a career as an Editor or as a PR professional. Her favorite part about being a member and officer of AWC is that she gets to grow professionally and make friends with similar ambitions. Meet AWC’s president, Camille Mullery! She is graduating this May with a major in integrated communication and a minor in marketing. She recently started working at Decode Digital as an Account Executive Intern and hopes to work in the Office of Public Affairs at NASA Johnson Space Center in the future. Her favorite part of her two years as an AWC member has been the social events the organization plans, specifically Bond Week, because they have allowed her to make the most of her college experience by venturing out and making friends.
