Valenti School welcomed back alum and KPRC 2 Houston’s weekend anchor, Bill Barajas (class of 2010), last week. Bill sat down with Prof. Roth’s Multimedia Journalism class to share his story and offer advice to students.
His tip: get experience and a mentor, create reels, and practice reading stories and playing them back to give yourself feedback. We are so proud of Bill’s career and excited for him to connect with future journalists. Be on the lookout for an opp to visit a weekend taping at KPRC2 later this semester!
Omar Majzoub, Director of Communications for the Houston Texans, visited Dr. Vardeman’s 4368 Public Relations Campaigns class last week. Be on the lookout for an opp to visit NRG Stadium and Omar’s team next semester!
