Seniors of The Saint Constantine School and Freshman of Saint Constantine College studying Classical Cosmos recently made the 9-hour drive to visit the McDonald Observatory in Fort David, Texas.
While there, they enjoyed views of the darkest night skies in the contiguous US and toured the Astronomical Research facilities. One student was even allowed to "drive" the telescope dome (pictured here)!
Students experienced the natural beauty of West Texas during a hike in the Davis Mountains. They learned about a unique piece of American and Texas history by touring the remains of the American military fort after which the town is named.
Once again, the annual Astronomy Trip was an adventure full of camaraderie, joy, and wonder! We thank Mr. Harris, Mr. Nicol, and Ms. Robleto for their leadership in this impactful and celebrated retreat for our students.

"Oh, but Peter, to live to any age is an awfully big adventure."
Directed by Saint Constantine College faculty member Laura Nicol, The Saint Constantine Ensemble Theater Presents: Peter Pan
When a night at home takes an unexpected turn, Mr. and Mrs. Darling's children fly away to the Never Land. As their parents struggle to make sense of this loss, the Darling children become entangled in a series of adventures featuring a boy named Peter, a band of Lost Boys, fairies, pirates, and—strangest of all—fractured echoes of a world they may not remember as well as they thought they did.
What follows is an exuberant and poignant meditation on family, change, and hope. Join us for this original adaptation of J.M. Barrie's classic, Peter Pan!

Congratulations to Mary Judah LeBlanc on the recent defense of her Senior Thesis, "Reach for the Stars: How Two Paths of Ascent Can Save the Soul from the Dark Wood."
At Saint Constantine College, each Senior spends his or her final semester working on their senior thesis. This project requires that they work closely with a faculty advisor to develop a specific area of research, immerse themselves in primary and secondary sources, and write an original work of great academic rigor totaling 6,000–9,000 words.
As the culmination of their undergraduate career, students must then defend their theses before a panel of faculty. We are proud of the hard work each of our Seniors have been pouring into their final projects, and we look forward to the remaining defenses of the semester.
