Saint Constantine Freshmen through Seniors leapt into the new school year full of energy and with fresh minds ready to seek Virtue, Wisdom, and Joy.

To start the year, students spent their first week participating in team-building games, meeting with faculty, visiting the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and finding time to connect with each other.

Nathan Mueller, Assistant Professor of Great Books and Philosophy, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on August 13 at Baylor University.

The dissertation, entitled, "On the Epistemic Significance of the Social: Towards a Constrained Epistemic Norm Contextualism," passed with great acclaim.

Dr. Mueller, pictured with his lovely wife Leilani, provides instruction to students in the Saint Constantine College and teaches TSCS Upper School students in his newly-developed Senior Thesis program.

One of the first questions our faculty are often asked has to do with the relationship between these two words: Orthodox and College.

Join us at A Celebration of Loyalty & Liberty, CiRCE's third annual conference for high schoolers.

Attendees will tackle good, hard questions together: What is loyalty, and to whom is it due? What is liberty, and is it its own end, or does it serve another end? What happens when loyalty and liberty are in conflict with one another? How do we determine which course of action to take: remain loyal or protect liberty?

Through this unique opportunity, Saint Constantine College and other schools will provide attendees with a glimpse into our classrooms and program as we explore the theme of Loyalty and Liberty together.

Brandon LeBlanc, SCC Student Life Director, and Mary Judah LeBlanc, SCC College Admissions Manager, are both speakers at this year's CiRCE Youth Conference. Brandon will be presenting his talk, "The Power of Piety: How to Resolve the Loyalty/Liberty Conundrum," and Mary Judah will be leading a session entitled, "Pick Your Path: How the two paths of ascent can help you determine life after high school."
