Helping educators and institutions to improve the lives of students and adults with special needs.

Instead of professionals ready to learn, we welcomed babies ready to play!

Today, young children who are deaf, hard of hearing, visually impaired, or deafblind gathered at Region 4's annual Babies' Day Out, engaging in hands-on, multi-sensory activities designed to support early development.

While children explored and played, families connected with educators, received coaching, and learned about services that support their child's growth from the very beginning.

Through events like this, Region 4 helps ensure families have access to the tools, resources, and support systems they need to help their children thrive.

We are grateful to the volunteers and partners who made this event a success. ๐Ÿค

Art is for everyone. ๐ŸŽจ

Last weekend, 50 students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind and their families visited The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, with Region 4's Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD).

The event featured a fully accessible guided tour of curated works, storytime connected to selected pieces, hands-on art-making, and tactile learning experiences designed to ensure meaningful access for all students.

Thank you to the Museum of Fine Arts for covering the cost of this experience for our families!
