October is National Bullying Prevention Month. The Houston Crime Stoppers will provide a special presentation on Cyber Safety during the PTO meeting scheduled on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 6pm. The presentation will be held in the cafeteria. We are encouraging parents to come to the meeting and receive information regarding cyber bullying, cyber safety for children and meet representatives from The Houston Crime Stoppers Division. This is an important and informative meeting you do not want to miss!

Hello Gators,

The time has come for BMI to recruit the top volleyball players for the 2018-2019 school year!
Beatrice Mayes Institute will be hosting try-outs for Lady Gators grades 5th-8th on Monday and Tuesday, August 20th and 21st from 4:30pm- 6:30pm.
ALL students must provide their own ride to try-outs. Try-Outs will be held at:

Southpark Baptist Church
5830 Van Fleet St, Houston, TX 77033

TRY-OUTS ARE CLOSED AND PARENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SIT IN

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR CHILD ON TIME

What to bring/ What to Wear

Wear comfortable clothes; t-shirt, shorts, socks, court and outdoor shoes

Do not wear spaghetti-strap tops, head wraps or shirts exposing a bare midriff

Do not bring jewelry (including earrings) to the gym

Kneepads

Water/Towel

Please come ready to be the best!
