🌿✨ Celebrating Maria Montessori

We honored the birthday of Dr. Maria Montessori and celebrated her lasting legacy through the children’s work and voices. 💛

🌸 Our Kindergarten students offered flowers in her honor.
🕊️ Our Elementary students created paper doves as symbols of peace and sang Teaching Peace.
👐 Across our classrooms, children created special projects using classic Montessori materials developed through Dr. Montessori’s work and research.

Different ages, different ways of celebrating—united by the same message:
“Education can help build a more peaceful world!” 🌎💛

✨ First Week of Lower Elementary | Inside the Classroom ✨

What a lovely start to the school year! Many of our children are moving up from Montessori primary into first grade.

It’s wonderful to see them bring focus, curiosity and independence from their early years into their new elementary space. Each child finds their own rhythm, planning work, organizing materials and learning alongside friends.

This gentle transition from primary to elementary is such a beautiful part of Montessori education. Grateful for these sweet classroom moments 🌿

This semester, MOLO is excited to offer a series of Parent Education Workshops, inviting families into our Montessori classrooms to connect with our experienced Lead Guides and find practical support for the questions that come with each stage of growth.

We look forward to learning alongside our MOLO families, gaining a deeper understanding of children, and supporting their growth together. 💙

At MOLO, routine is much more than simply following a daily schedule—it’s how our youngest learners begin to understand the world. When children know what to expect, they feel safe. And when they feel safe, they are ready to explore, learn, and become increasingly independent.

In our Infant classroom, these daily routines aren’t rushed—they are respected. Every repeated moment is an opportunity for children to practice, participate, and gradually do more for themselves.
