We are kicking off the school year with our FIRST Science Discovery Night of the year, and we are planning for this to be our BIGGEST and BEST Science Night yet!
Join us for Science Discovery Night: Waves & Water on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:15β6:15 PM! Come explore hands-on science, learn about water, weather, conservation, and our environment, and meet some incredible scientists and community organizations.
Weβll be joined by an amazing group of community partners, including:
β’ Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District β featuring their Mobile Lab and giant aquifer model
β’ Texas Stream Team
β’ Houston-Galveston Area Council
β’ Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures
β’ Texas Farm Bureau
β’ Take Care of Texas β with freebies for families
β’ Galveston Bay Foundation
β’ NOAA Meteorologists
β’ Harris-Galveston Subsidence District H2O Lab Water Conservation Program
And come hungry! Weβll also have Kona Ice, Taco Boss, and KKβs Island Style Food on campus. Families are welcome to purchase dinner or a treat and sit together to eat in the cafeteria while enjoying the evening.
