Welcome to KM4B Mr.Fehl! 🎉🎉

KM4B has a long-standing tradition of excellence, pride, and a strong, successful culture. We are confident Mr. Fehl will continue to build upon that legacy while helping lead the program to even greater heights. Mr. Fehl is eager to meet our talented student musicians and is excited to work alongside Mr. Guardiola and Mr. Wilson to continue advancing the outstanding tradition of KM4B.

Mr. Fehl brings 26 years of experience as a band director and music educator. Most recently, he served as Head Band Director at Klein High School. Prior to Klein High School, he spent 1 year at Klein Cain HS, 20 years at Doerre Intermediate School, 2 years at Oak Ridge HS, and 1 year at Bammel Middle School.

Throughout his career, he has led highly successful programs at both the middle school and high school levels, earning numerous UIL Sweepstakes awards, national recognitions, finalist performances, and championship honors in both concert and marching band settings. Highlights include selection as National Wind Band Honors National Finalist three times, selection as TMEA Junior High Full Orchestra Finalist three times, selection as the TMEA Junior High Honor Full Orchestra in 2019, performances in the 68th Annual Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago and the Music For All National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, and 2nd place overall at the USBand Southern Championships.
Mr. Fehl holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Sam Houston State University, where he studied Conducting with Dr. Matthew McInturf and Trumpet with Mr. Randal Adams. In addition to his work as an educator, he is an active professional trumpet player, adjudicator and clinician throughout the state.
