A few beautiful moments from today’s Cinco de Mayo celebration in our Spanish Immersion Class community.
The children explored music, movement, and culture with joy, sharing the experience alongside their families in a spirit of connection and community.

We are grateful to our dedicated teachers and supportive parents for helping create such a meaningful and joyful celebration. ❤️

Last Friday, our school playground at Clear Lake Montessori School came alive with color, culture, and community as we celebrated Cultural Extravaganza Day!

We were honored to have more than 12 nations represented, each sharing their unique traditions, stories, and heritage. Our amazing parents and staffs generously contributed delicious homemade dishes from their cultures, creating a beautiful experience of taste and togetherness.

Across the playground, families also enjoyed thoughtfully prepared display boards and cultural articles showcased on tables from each participating country—helping our children explore and appreciate the richness of our global community.

It was truly a joyful day of learning, sharing, and celebrating unity in diversity.

Yesterday was a truly inspiring day at Clear Lake Montessori School!

In the morning, we were honored to welcome Dr. Lauren Eichblatt from Designer Smiles, who gave our students an engaging presentation on dental hygiene and the importance of taking care of our teeth. The children learned wonderful habits for keeping their smiles healthy!

In the afternoon, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Jared Daum, proud parent of two of our students, who shared an exciting presentation about NASA parachutes and how they help bring astronauts safely back home. The students were fascinated to learn about space exploration and engineering in action.

We are deeply grateful to both speakers for generously sharing their time, knowledge, and passion with our students. Experiences like these make learning come alive and help inspire our children to dream big and explore the world around them.

Last Thursday, April 2nd, the CLMS playground was transformed into a landscape of discovery for our annual Spring Egg Hunt. Under a clear sky and warm sunshine, our students set off with baskets in hand and excitement in their hearts.

It was a joy to witness the children’s independence and curiosity in action. Whether they were carefully inspecting a leafy hiding spot or cheering on a friend’s discovery, the morning was a beautiful reflection of our vibrant school spirit.

A huge thank you to our amazing parents for sending in the eggs that made this event happen—we couldn’t have done it without your generosity! And a shoutout to our staff for hiding them so well. We love seeing our community come together to create these special memories.

Our students had a wonderful time getting their hands in the soil and helping prepare our garden for spring. They worked together to dig, plant, and water while learning how to care for plants and our environment. Gardening is a beautiful hands-on Montessori experience that teaches responsibility, patience, and respect for nature.

Thank you to our teachers for guiding this hands-on learning experience and helping our students connect with nature.

On Monday, February 16, Clear Lake Montessori joyfully celebrated Lunar New Year!

Our students gathered to learn about traditions, symbols, and the meaning behind this special holiday. Through stories, decorations, and cultural exploration, the children experienced the beauty of celebrating together as a community.
