Our CEO, Christine Aboud, had the pleasure of attending the Microsoft Houston AI Tour and here are her key takeaways:

"My key insights and takeaways from attending the Microsoft Houston AI tour is that AI is truly helping the shift of how work is getting done to amplify outcomes!

During the keynote speaker, I heard from Shelley Bransten, the corporate VP worldwide industry solutions for Microsoft. She said in adopting AI it’s more about intelligence and trust. In adopting AI, you have to consider the intelligence of your people and data. No system is more intelligent than its data!

Trust is another factor cause you must secure and protect data and workloads .

The VP of Data and AI for Texas Childrens Hospital, Ashok Kurian, said the challenge is not about AI and data because computing is now so much cheaper and easier. The challenge lies within the people and their behavioral change, and changing their mindset to adopt AI in their everyday work.

I also heard from Marcus Rossi, the VP for Digital North America for SLB. He says that they are a technology company first with a focus on energy and industry. I keep hearing more and more companies say that they’re not in business in a specific industry anymore. They are an actual technology company first that focuses on a specific solution for an industry.
